I admit that I have only watched it once way back when I rented it and I didn't care for it. But.. I should probably give it another shot. It has been 20-something years I guess, since I saw it. Tastes change and enough people here talk it up. I remember that the friend who suggested the movie to me was surprised when I told him I didn't like it cause he loved it.

Overall, it seems like this year there are many more movies coming out that I want to buy. I thought last year was great. But this year seems even better.

Hate to rain on the proverbial parade, but this 'summer of fear' is looking pretty weak overall. Not a whole lot there to get excited about. Sleepaway Camp and Lake Placid are the only "must haves" for me, plus a few others that are mildly interesting.

Perhaps, but you're the guy that buys every Scream release, no matter how awful the movie.

Okay, let's get some preorders up!

Just Sleepaway Camp, Lake Placid, Ginger Snaps, Dog Soldiers and maybe Leviathan, for me.

Yeah. There's 8 must have titles for me and another 6 are 'probably will buy'. Some just might get put off for a bit cause of other must haves from other companies. The folks who buy every single release best keep that wallet handy.

See I knew it the whole time it was coming

Seriously I nearly blew a gasket when I first saw this on Facebook. I just nearly had a cinemagasm... I cant begin to say what a triumphant day this is... all those messages I sent to Cliff and Jeff about this movie, doing a combo .. about it being a big seller if they gave it a chance..
Im literally having a moment here.. I feel Daniel Bryan YES YES YES

Without Warning, along with 2-3 others is what I would have preferred over Pumpkinhead and I got my wish after all ... Even though I figured Pumpkinhead seemed logical, I don't mind being guessing incorrectly...In fact, a lot of us didn't guess it as we gave up all hope since it kept not being announced.

This is a very special day for me and as demonknight said..the quest for Godzilla 1985 begins..actually Ive wanted that for decades on disc format. And I know there are rights issues/Toho waiting for rights contracts to be over,etc..and when they are , G85 will get a new distributor - guaranteed. The movie is actually # 1 on my blu ray wish list ... Without Warning was # 2

I still want Pumkpinhead , Fright Night II and Planet of the Vampires - but for now, this satisfies a personal want list and Im so very very happy about this...

really?

Ravenous
Ginger Snaps
Sleepaway Camp
Leviathan

just to name a few. I think they're doing a stellar job this year. I'm so glad the announcement was Without Warning instead of Pumpkinhead. Having said that, I welcome any and all horror movies to the Blu-Ray format. The more the merrier

Was hoping for Pumpkinhead...oh well.

I have a burnt copy of this on DVD a friend gave me awhile back. I still haven't watched it but I hear it's like the original "Predator" film. At least that's what multiple people have said in the past.

Yeah. That list is great. I've only bought about 5 scream titles total cause they usually just aren't very good/interesting movies, but there are more than 5 on that list alone that I'll be buying for sure!

MAY
Final Exam
Evilspeak
Nosferatu
House in the Alley
Sleepaway Camp (Collector's Edition)

JUNE
Ravenous
The Monkey's Paw

JULY
The Final Terror
Lake Placid (Collector's Edition)
Deadly Eyes
Ginger Snaps (Collector's Edition)

AUGUST
Phantom of the Paradise (Collector's Edition)
Motel Hell (Collector's Edition)
Leviathan
The Legend of Hell House
Dog Soldiers (Collector's Edition)
Without Warning

All the bolded ones are awesome. I don't know what some of the non-bolded ones are, either, so they might end up being awesome too. Lake Placid is the only one there I've seen that I'm not interested in but I think it was still a great choice for a release.

While I agree that 2014s lineup seems somewhat underwhelming, I think that the problem is when we compare it to all the great titles they had in 2013. Still a lot of titles in the coming months that I plan on getting but they are mostly lower profile. Which isn't a problem for me at all.

I finally got around to watching Saturn 3 today and I have to say that it was rather odd in a delightful sort of way. I thought the PQ Looked really good for a scream title.

Until I get an announcement for the burbs every announcement is going to be a little disappointing for me... Well unless it would be Halloween 6 the producers cut.

Hell I'll do it too:

MAY
Final Exam
Evilspeak
Nosferatu
House in the Alley
Sleepaway Camp (Collector's Edition)

JUNE
Ravenous
The Monkey's Paw

JULY
The Final Terror
Lake Placid (Collector's Edition)
Deadly Eyes
Ginger Snaps (Collector's Edition)

AUGUST
Phantom of the Paradise (Collector's Edition)
Motel Hell (Collector's Edition)
Leviathan
The Legend of Hell House
Dog Soldiers (Collector's Edition)
Without Warning

Bolds are films I love, italics I'm excited for because I like the films, or others have hyped me up on them (Final Terror, Without Warning). The rest because I "buy everything" :P

I can't tell if your joking or what? I know most of those titles had a lot of serious complaints about the PQ. Which were totally justified. I didn't see any major problems with Saturn 3
