I think the announcements this year are getting better and better... I'm not saying that all the titles above are "classics" but they are a fun mix of great movies, B-grade fun, nostalgia, and films that I've never seen and are looking forward to

The new 2k scans for Sleepaway Camp, Final Exam, Evilspeak and Final Terror should be good once they come out.

Slumber Party Massacre looks more better than ever than the previous DVDs.

Hope they do a good restoration to Dog Soldiers.

F'n Awesome! Now hopefully it will make it out before the director is here in august for a horror con and I can get it signed. This is such a great movie and I am surprised it took this long to make it to home video.

Without Waring is it? Man I was hoping for something bigger like Phantasm or something. Saw this not to long ago on Comcast on-demand and found it ok. Glad it's coming out though because I know lots of you guys wanted it.

It was announced all week that it wasn't Phantasm...and Without Warning is just as big as Phantasm .. The only difference is Phantasm has been released at least twice on DVD and Without Warning hasn't ever had a release. They are just as big but for different reasons

Come on, man. I know you're a fan of Without Warning, and that's cool, but in what possible way is it "just as big as Phantasm"? Phantasm is more well known, was a bigger box office success, spawned at least 3 sequels...

Without Warning is just an amateurish footnote at best and Landau and Palance are hardly in the movie at all. Well, at least I have Leviathan to look forward to...

This is a great announcement! Without Warning was the first horror movie I was allowed to go see in a theater, and probably was too young even then. It scared me quite a bit. I saw it on a crappy bootleg import DVD a while back and I still enjoyed it. Will be great to see this one finally get the Scream Factory treatment!

I know, was just hoping it was Phantasm.

As I stated I'm glad Without Waring is coming out because it needs a release and I welcome it.

For me WW is the Scream Factory release announcement of the year ! Nothing I like better than a movie that Im a fan of that hasn't ever had an official release in the USA - until now, that is.

That's why I said before I would be happier if this was announced instead of Pumpkinhead (which I do want, but WW a lot more). Without Warning finally gets a chance to shine !!

I guess you can compare how I feel to those who are fans of the Final Terror which is also getting a debut this year.

We all feel strongly about titles getting released for different reasons. For me, Fright Night II needs a blu ray release because the DVD is horrible, full screen...Island of Terror and Godzilla 1985 because they've never been released on disc format in the USA , Planet of the Vampires & Theater of Blood because they arent anamorphic.. (TOB is coming from Arrow)

And now, a review, from someone who adores this company (not me):

http://www.goodbadflicks.com/episode...thout-warning/

To show how big a fan he is, just look at his last five reviews:
Phantasm (he praises the second in the review)
They Live
America 3000
Deathstalker 2
The Time Guardian

I asked him about watching a bunch of Shout Factory releases. He said he didn't know he was that obvious.

I'll take Nosferatu, Ravenous, The Final Terror, Without Warning & Phantom of the Paradise, but I could do without the rest. Glad others are happy about them, though.

Everything pales in comparison to my excitement for Nightbreed, but according to Mark Miller, Scream hasn't even started to work on restoring it.

I haven't seen the releases of Saturn 3 or Prince of Darkness yet but Halloween 2, Lifeforce, Slumber Party Massacre and The Fog all looked good to me.

Often enough it seems, there will be a number of complaints based on screen shots, by people who don't own the Blu-ray to really see how it looks. IMO, any time grain is involved, a screen cap just won't do the Blu-ray justice. My rule of thumb is basically, if I see some caps and I say hey, that looks good...then I'm sold cause I know the BD will look even better.

YES!! I am still in a bit of shock over The Final Terror coming out. It's kind of like one of those... too good to be true feelings. The Final Terror and Just Before Dawn were two of my most wanted titles, so to be getting them both in the same year just seems insane.

Honestly, if nothing else was announced the rest of the year from SF or any other company and they just put out the rest of their already announced titles, I'd be content. Everything else is just more added awesomeness to this year!
