Metalocalypse is not only the greatest thing Adult Swim will ever see, but it's also one of the best animated TV series I've seen in my life. It is excellent, and the characters are among the best of any animated TV series ever. I LOVE it.

The only other Adult Swim shows I've seen:

Robot Chicken - tedious, unfunny trash IMO
Frisky Dingo - really good, funny and has some nice animation
Squidbillies - okay, but mostly visually ugly
Aqua Teen Hunger Force - random, but funny

Not in any order but here are my 5 (originals not anime - anime should be different list)

Venture Brothers (Brock Samson, 'nuff said - )
Harvey Birdman AAL (show is just classic, the cameos and clients are well done)
ATHF (duh)
Sealab 2021 (always felt this was the most underrated, but after the guy who played Murphy passed, show had to end)
Metalocalypse (theme song is my ring tone - if you EVER listened to, liked, or knew a metalhead - this is for you)

however there are some duds - anything involving Tim & Eric (show name and Tom goes to Mayor), & Sal and the Mole Men is wretched.

Aqua teen would be nice. I'll always remember watching the movie in a good half an inch box in the corner of my old small standard def TV. - With no sound. Heck, I even recorded it and watced a bit of it in complete blurry-ness.

Great movie...

Loved the movie, I'm adding this to my home theater intro.

ATHF is one of my all time favorite shows. as is metalocalypse, but I haven't seen any new episodes lately because it comes on so late and I work sunday mornings so it's hard for me to stay up.

and of course, family guy. helps me fall asleep haha

and, for the record, robot chicken is NOT funny.

Venture Brothers and Robot Chicken are two of the funniest shows ever put on television. RC's "ode to the nut-shot" and "tribute to Jackass" segments just about sent me to the hospital.

Can't quite figure out what this has to do with blu-ray, though.

I liked ATHF and Sealab. There's not a lot on there for me anymore. Everytime I turn it on it's always Family Guy and I'm not really a fan of it.

Why? Because Venture Bros season three is in high-def. Don't know anyone who carries the channel in high-def though.

There are a lot of treasures on AS, but I think Venture Bros is the best of the bunch.
