I don't want to wait months for season 2 of House of Cards. I certainly won't want to wait for the 4 Marvel series Dish is going to get. And I buy movies or shows on Blu-ray I really like. I don't have to see a movie at a higher bit rate to enjoy it. But if I really enjoy it, I will buy it as much of the extra content as anything. I've discovered movies on NetFlix that weren't available to purchase or rent in the U.S. at the time and that prompted me to buy the Blu-ray. Examples of that at the time are Flame and Citron and The Red Baron.

You and your snickering buddies miss out on a lot of quality content by limiting your viewing to Blu-ray, but that's your choice, just like coming up with juvenile names and posts.
Wrong quote, sorry Rick. I meant to quote Slick

By the way Slick, you lost me at sharing the experience on social media!

Can you provide a link to your last post in this thread that was on topic? I only see posts from you of the peanut gallery type. And since the topic is a complete falsehood, the topic should be locked. It would be sad to leave it open until the time when NetFlix abandons rentals.

I'm sure you're adult enough to go back and read all my posts. You'll find many more that are on topic, then nearly 95% of your posts which are totally off topic.
But, by all means, continue to make this thread your personal Streamie Soapbox.

Like I thought....all fluff, no substance. You made the accusation and can't back up your own assertion with even one link. Talk about laughable. The burden of proof is on you.

Talk about childish...did you need me to help you tie your shoes next?

You haven't had an on topic post in 3 years? All I want is a link to back your assertion, your last on topic post. Can't you find it? Just one post? You wrote it. Where is it? BTW, posting ROLOL, isn't on topic so all your posts this year, at least, are off topic.

Here's your over 200 posts on this thread. Good luck finding one on topic. One.

This is what you fail to understand, you've totally derailed the thread, and made it your own little Streamie Soapbox, much to the dismay of several other members here. That's called derailing and should be a suspendable offense. So, since the thread is in ruins, and the Mods don't care about your derailing of the thread, I respond to your derailments.
Again, do you need help in explaining other things that are totally obvious?

Back on topic: Glad to see Act of Killing BD arrived today from Netflix. I'm always glad to see them get smaller studios that put out excellent documentaries.

There's my on-topic post. Let's see you post something on-topic?

Post #19, fist page. Very much on topic.

Where are your on topic posts? Or do you admit that you knowingly derail a thread?

Streamies...they crack me up!

Found your first and last post on topic, June 2011. 200 plus posts after of nothing of worth.

So after losing 6 million disc subscribers since the thread started, was I derailing the thread or stating the truth about the topic? NetFlix didn't turn their focus to disc, they reaffirmed their focus to strreaming, branching out to more countries and signing contracts with major studios in that ensuing time period. I can't even tell you when I last saw a Netflix disc at home ad, but I've seen the streaming ads EVERYWHERE. Any outsider stumbling upon this thread would think the title is a joke.

If the thread was called, The Moon is Made of Cheese, I'd be here doing the same thing, debunking it.

Derailing the thread as you see fit.
Glad we have you here to derail...err I mean debunk threads.

Go start a Streamie thread, everyone would be much better off.

I don't need to debunk the thread, NetFlix does. Here is their own description of their company. Not one word about disc rentals.

Quote:
Netflix is the world's leading Internet television network with over 44 million members in more than 40 countries enjoying more than one billion hours of TV shows and movies per month, including original series. For one low monthly price, Netflix members can watch as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, on nearly any Internet-connected screen. Members can play, pause and resume watching, all without commercials or commitments.

Make up your mind.

Fine then let Netflix "debunk" it and start posting on-topic posts. If you don't have any, then kindly post away in all the streaming threads. Quite simple actually, but you have established that you need assistance with things like this.

NASA isn't going to debunk a "Moon is made of cheese thread".

What do you have on topic to post? Let's see it. You seem to have a favorite phase you think is cute and a couple of icons, neither are on topic. Put us back on topic, now's your chance...go for it OR SHUT UP about it.

Clearly comprehension is not your strong suit, or you would've noticed that a few posts ago I did post on-topic. Try to keep up!

You're so intent on mounting your Streamie Soapbox you can't even follow on conversation.

So I will ask you again, where is your on-topci post? haha!

From Blu-ray.COM General rules:
  • No trolling.
  • Don't threadcrap.
  • If your only purpose on this forum is to question Blu-ray as a format and bringing negativity to the forum, then you are not welcome.

I would suggest that the next post that violates the Blu-ray.COM General rules be reported by clicking and let the mods deal with the offender(s).
