Whats up with the diffused (if thats the right word for it) look of this blu ray? The image is clean and clear yet sort of out of focus at the same time to where there is never any fine detail visible on faces for example.

It's the way the movie was shot. Looked exactly the same the two times I saw it in theaters.

I should of said this "movie" instead of blu ray because I wasn't meaning to trash the blu rays quality I just was kind of wondering what would cause the film to look that way? There was one sequence that looked really pristine and detailed and that was the scene where Danny Mcbride was making breakfast but after that it looked all out of focus again. Enjoyed the movie but if that was a stylistic choice to make it look like that I don't get the rationale behind it. Also a few instances of light sources streaking/bleeding whatever you wanna call it leaving big bright lines across the image. Most notable in the backstreet scene but I spotted it a few times.
