If the link doesn't work for whatever reason search for yourself. It's funny though because "Shout!/Scream Factory" actually put "Incredible Melting Man" out as a serious offering, to them it's a joke title, it's a MST3k movie. I side with Arrow here. The other joke was that they were putting out "Ghost Dad" which is hilarious, I love the cover artwork they made for them as well.
Yeah the same Arrow who put out Hellgate and Hell Comes to Frogtown...

Its already been released on Blu-ray. Even if not, there's zero possibility of Criterion relegating three relatively well-known films from a critically-acclaimed and commercially viable director like David Cronenberg to the Eclipse line.

Isn't the Eclipse line DVD-Only anyhow?

You can relax. It's not as if there is some sort of freaky, let's take a look down there, sort of thing going on. You own Hostel, so Ginger Snaps should seem tame in comparison as far as 'disgusting' goes. You should watch the movie if you get a chance, as a rental even.
Damn, I would have already had it on pre-order if that was the case!
No, I have seen it...I was just trying to get a reaction out of prestige....he is just too easy of a target...anyone who feels that strongly for something you can't help but to tease them a little, I admire the dedication though. Sorry Prestige

Is there any general consensus about The Legend of Hell House?

I like Richard Matheson, I like creepy mansion stories and it's hard to go wrong with Roddy McDowell but for some reason 'cheesy and not in the good way' is in the back of my mind when I think about this.

Wasn't impressed with this one; it had a few creepy moments but nothing really memorable. It came across as a cheap rip off of The Haunting. But it was years ago when I saw it. I just think there are better ghost films out there... The Haunting being the one to beat.

I like Legend Of Hell House better than The Haunting.... both films have terrific atmosphere and chills... both are well worth owning

The atmosphere in The Haunting gives me chills every time. But I also prefer The Amityville Horror over Legend of Hell House and I know that is an opinion that won't be shared by everyone. I know it's a proper cheese fest but Amityville rules. That scene with Rod Steiger and the flies and that demonic voice; gives me goosebumps.

I bought Incredible Melting Man the other day when it was on sale It's definitely awful but the makeup is awesome and I'm looking forward to watching the dismissive interview with Rick Baker!

Did anybody take advantage of the March Madness sale at Shout? I bought Sleepaway Camp, The Burning, and The Nest with a 20% off coupon. Then I snagged Rolling Thunder (not a Scream Title, but a great exploitation film all the same) with a 5% off coupon that also game with a $20 gift certificate. I'll be using that on a future preorder.

Nope. Speaking of The Nest... It semi-sucks! haha
It was too Soap Opera-y in the beginning of the film. Not to mention that the fact that Homer was the coolest person on the movie... Which is outrageous!

I pre-ordered Sleepaway Camp and the most recent MST3K box set using a 15% off + $3 shipping coupon.

Not only is it awesome, for a long time it was a holy grail, MIA on DVD and very much requested. Surprised to see so many people dismiss it.

Exactly... I thought it was very funny, creepy and well done. The make-up is terrific! The melting effect had to inspire Tarman in Return Of The Living Dead! haha

I like the atmospgere of the picture, but I know plenty of folks that think it's pretty poor. It builds slowly to be sure, but the acting is so over the top in places that is just bonkers by the end. I quite enjoy it. I'm also eager to hear the director's commentary which, from the review here, sounds like a good listen.

Well said. Agreed. I'm looking forward to the upcoming BD. I do want to pick up The Haunting also at some point. It just keeps getting put off.
