Uh, no it is not. Last season never dropped under 7 million viewers. This season has already had six episodes under 7 million viewers with still eight episodes to air. Viewers are vacating quickly, and next season could very well be the last one.

I'm from the UK but this show was never picked up here. Got to see the first episode whilst on holiday last year and liked the look of it.

Hopefully it'll be released on blu ray soon so I can watch the rest of it.

I thought the first half of the series had a bit of a slow start, but the second half really became a more exciting. At least that's my opinion.

See... I felt the exact opposite. I liked the first half... but just lost interest after that.

I'm sticking with the show but I don't find the wicked witch of the West to be a terror or wicked. The character is not played by the right person IMHO.

Your talking about the original. This thread is for the spinoff show.

Surprised no one has said anything about Michael Socha becoming a regular on the original Once next season.

I just had to Google who that was but once I did....and especially the shirtless pics that came up, ROFL - made me VERY excited!!!

I love him so much - by far my favorite character from Wonderland. And one of the sexiest actors on TV.

I wonder if I write a letter and ask real, real nicely if maybe ABC could be convinced to have Regina cast a spell that makes Hook and the Knave fall in love...

Oh gosh, it's a good thing I don't write fanfic because I'd have to write an epic tome about that.

Felt a little rushed, but overall, a satisfying ending. Wrapped eveything up pretty much.

[Show spoiler] They beat Jafar the same way they do in Aladdin. Fitting I guess, leaves a way for Jafar to return. One thing I don't get, unless I missed something.... It seems Anna dies again because Jafar loses his power over the laws of magic. So then shouldn't Cyrus have died again too? I know ultimately the well woman brings Anna back anyways so I guess it doesn't really matter since she would have done the same for Cyrus I guess.

[Show spoiler]I think the difference is Jafar used his magic to bring Anna back from the dead, but I think Amara just used her powers to heal Cyrus as he wasn't dead yet.

[Show spoiler]I liked the finale, and enjoyed that they defeated jafar similar to how they did in Aladdin. I just think the Jabberwocky was underused. Looking forward to seeing Will and hopefully Anna next season of OUAT. I still hope we get to see Jafar interact with Aladdin though.

Also now that I am thinking about it, they never did explain how they got Amara out of the staff did they?

Well, it seemed the whole reason she agreed to help Jafar in the first place was because he was going to die. But he does seem not quite dead, so you might have a point.
Jabberwocky wise I agree. And she seems so surprised he betrayed her. That was obvious from miles away.

I don't think so. Jafar asks and she says something like, you don't know all my tricks.

[Show spoiler]I agree, the Jabberwocky was a bit under-used - I am really hoping we see her come back on the mother show.

That said, I have heard people say that about Jafar/Aladdin as well, but I find it confusing. I have the whole series saved on my DVR and I plan to rewatch it, and with the space between episodes being so long I may have just missed it -

Did we hear about an actual character named Aladdin - did I just miss it? That's what I get for working when I watch TV sometimes, LOL.

Now that I am thinking about it, I almost want to say I remember something very early on mentioning him - but then again, it may be my mind playing tricks because of the suggestion. Really need to watch it all again.

All that said, I did really like the finale. It made me just fine for the show to be done - if it was going to go on a second season, they would just have to throw some wrench in and it could have just gotten endlessly frustrating. I think just about every character had a nice story arc that was very start, middle, end - it just, worked for me. It was just long enough to tell that story.

Plus, I love that we don't necessarily have to say goodbye to all the characters, as we know at least one has signed for Once Upon (my favorite, no less). I'm sure others will show up here and there - heck, I wouldn't be shocked if at some point Jafar was the Big Bad for a season or half.

I'm also really glad that ABC saw it through - and we didn't get cut off at episode 6 or something like so many other shows.

I do look forward to watching it again all the way through - I suppose it's too much to hope for a Blu-ray release, but at least it's on Hulu - though, as I said, for now I have it all on my TiVo and I'll probably keep it around at least until the next time I watch it through. It was soooo long between episodes, I'm sure it will play differently all at once, too.

Since Will is coming to OUAT, I wonder if some other living characters from the show will now be joining the series. I'm guessing they did not announce
[Show spoiler]Anna
would be on OUAT because
[Show spoiler]it wasn't confirmed she would live
.

Yeah, I really think they should have explained that better. It was a big moment that was glossed over, I don't understand why she didn't escape years ago.

[Show spoiler]They never mentioned Aladdin. I just hope that Aladdin appears on the original show, and gets a chance to interact with Jafar.

That would be awesome!

Kind of shocked at how great the finale is. For a one season show that's nearly unheard of. At least as far as American productions go. The final few minutes were a nice nod to the original story.

Pleased that this isn't the last we'll see of Will. Would like to see the rest in some capacity but one is definitely better than none.

Really enjoyed the finale. The show ended up being a satisfying one season show.
