Default Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug w/bonus features

Just an heads up if you redeem "Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug" on Cinemanow they have the option to redeem the movie with bonus features. All the features are UV enabled and they transfer over to Vudu along with the movie.

Maybe it will be like Gravity and the special features will be bundled with the uv code redemption. Both are WB titles, so hopefully this is a sign that they will start making the bonus features both included and uv enabled on all the major releases.

Hmm interesting, I didn't know redeeming Gravity on CinemaNow would have resulted in getting the special features. I never even considered CinemaNow as an option before.

same here. I usually check now but even when I attempted to redeem anchorman 2 through target ticket to get the unrated version, it didn't work. It originally stated it was the unrated version then switched over to the theatrical.

I didn't use CinemaNow for Gravity - I used vudu. The point was that WB had bundled the special features with the code and made them uv enabled also (assuming people got them wherever redeemed because it was bundled with the code). I am thinking that maybe the Hobbit will be the same, but won't know for sure until the code is redeemed of course

I tried redeeming through CinemaNow to get the extra features. No luck. All it did was invalidate my code and not give me the movie. After dealing with one of the useless reps at CinemaNow I spoke with someone as the Flixster support site who verified my code and added the movie to my library. It transferred to Vudu and CinemaNow, but no extras. It may work for others, but it definitely didn't work for me.

Just redeemed through Cinemanow and got the movie and the three featurettes. Thanks for the tip!

I bought the 3d version but VUDU wont let me redeem it even though its available to rent/buy. Flixster doesnt list the 3D version to claim. has anyone gotten the 3D version claimed? Where did you go?
