I agree, a From Dusk Till Dawn special edition that included Full Tilt Boogie and some other Scream produced extras would be awesome.

Dracula 2000 is a guilty pleasure of mine; for 2000 era horror movies I think it's above average. I'm surprised so few people here favor it.

...Then again that year we also got American Psycho (that one deserves a double dip), Shadow of the Vampire, Ginger Snaps, and Final Destination in 2000.

Speaking of double dips; I'd not be too excited to see Scream Factory focusing on re-releasing films previously widely available on high definition (granted Dusk till Dawn has a botched transfer). I'd rather SF focus on bringing new stuff to the table. The Dusk sequels should not be overlooked, they're not bad (says the guy defending Dracula 2K).

I agree about the From Dusk Till Dawn sequels. Both are actually pretty decent, but I doubt Scream is going to bother with them right now. They probably have higher priorities than B-movie horror sequels from the late 90's early 2000's. That probably goes for Dracula 2000 as well. Another decent effort/guilty pleasure of mine. Although I like Dracula 2 the best out of the trilogy.

3 is amazing. What a truly batshit crazy film. I think all of the Corn sequels suffer in comparison, though I am a fan of The Final Sacrifice.

Stacie Ponder did a great series on her blog (Final Girl) called "The Corn-ening" where she watched all of them in one day. Hilarious stuff.

That's the main reason Scream Factory can't release the likes of April Fools Day and Fire In The Sky, its with Warner.
I thought Paramount licensed April Fool's Day (and My Bloody Valentine) to Lionsgate before the Warner deal. Presumably, any titles they licensed to Lionsgate should still be with them.

Lionsgate's licenses have since expired and reverted back to Paramount prior to the Warner deal. April Fool's Day and My Bloody Valentine are both with Warner Brothers currently.

Anyone else thinking they'll be announcing the Miramax deal (that we are all so SURE is happening ) on Killer POV in May. That would be about the time they announced they Fall (particularly October) slate, right? Halloween 6: Producers Cut would fit perfectly.

I think that one would constitute a multi-disc edition, with the bootleg DVD's multiple cuts included in SD on a Bonus DVD Disc or two. Just a thought.

For example:
- BD Disc One: Theatrical Cut
- BD Disc Two: Producer's Cut
- DVD Disc Three: Alternate Cuts, Workprint, Extended (etc) in SD (*BD Exclusive)

I think that'd be a fun way of doing it.
or we are all wrong and the guys over at Shout Factory are all laughing their asses off reading the last couple pages.

I never said nothing about the FDTD sequels. I haven't seen them and have no desire to.

I would've killed for a Halloween 6 Producer's Cut...10 years ago. The passage of time kills much of the enthusiasm for me with Special Editions that should've been done and over with. I feel the same way about the Kill Bill: Whole Bloody Affair and some others that people have just sat on while they get fat and old. Nobody owes us any favors but we are the ones who buy this stuff. People tend to shrug these things off after a while. Best to release them while we're still giddy about them.

Well, sure, if you consider Tarantino himself a fanboy. He's the one who said there would be a WBA version of Kill Bill. As for Halloween 6, well they now have good elements for a Producer's Cut but the film was made in 1995 - I refuse to believe any extra material was lost or destroyed. We're only talking 15 years ago here. Misplaced or mislabeled materials are more likely.

If Scream Factory has acquired the Dimension catalogue, I would hope and pray that The Prophecy finally receives a watchable home video release.

I think it's one of the finest horror films of the 90s, and would love as many special features as possible.

19 years ago, to be exact.

Oh yeah, Scream Factory and Dimension would be a match made in heaven. Besides The Prophecy, I'd love to see the Halloween sequels, Venom (2005), Cursed (2005), Phantoms (1998), even some of the non-horror stuff too (like Equilibrium).

Since we're on the topic of unreleased cuts, I'd love to see the writers/director's cut of The Plague that's been floating around for awhile. Unfortunately, Scream will never do it since it's part of Sony's library and Twilight Time will only release what's given to them (if this title is ever given to them).

I hope that if they do plan to release Halloween 6 Producer's Cut that they also have the theatrical cut included, since it's the version I've always known and there hasn't really been a good release of it. The DVD was non-anamorphic and the Blu-ray was lacking. The only decent release was the Canadian triple feature. The same goes for Halloween H20.

Wow and I thought I was the only one who enjoyed Phantoms.

Also, if SF ever got access to anything in Paramount's catalog, I would hope they'd consider getting this:

Phantoms like a motherf*cker. Affleck was da bomb in it.

Phantoms is actually a terrific little horror flick. Plus it stars Lawrence of Arabia himself . One of the best 90's horror flicks IMO
