Yeah, that's why I'm amused by big announcements "blah blah turns out to be dangerous". Everything is dangerous.

Breathing Oxygen is what causes old age, as your body eventually loses it's ability to fight off oxidation. This is why you live longer high up in altitude with thinner air. Still, would you tell someone to stop breathing in order to protect themselves?

Yeah, it's a catch-22...and you need oxygen for cellular respiration which gives you the energy you need to live and metabolize.

You're more likely to be damaged when the battery explodes or catches on fire rather than the tiny amount of radiation they put out.

But the point is, all these chemicals are on the INSIDE of the gaming consoles so unless you break your PS3 open and start licking the Cell processor, I think you'll be okay.

damn it!!! I guess it's too late for me now. I should have known better. All I wanted to do was to overclock it. True story!!!!

Agreed. While I care for our planet and do my part to help keep it clean by not throwing trash out of my car and recyling... these people are more like Eco-terrorists. Trying to cause fear and panic is not the way to go about things.

My theory is that Greenpeace are funded by Jack Thompson to stop people playing GTA IV and to cut down on playing games (or in Jack's case, all together).

It seems like Greenpeace tries to inform people based upon their seeming belief that we are all ignorant and as brain-washed as they are...

... this is my opinion, you don't like it, then...

One of the phthalates found in the 360 and PS3, a chemical called DEHP, is also known to interfere with sexual development in mammals, especially males.
