Its funny you should mention monkeys because that is exactly the point in time I new that this movie was horrible.

i wanted to see it today so bad :/ but gotta wait til friday... im sure it'll be nice and crammed in the theatres... wish they had a theatre that charged $30 a ticket just to keep the families with kids out ^^

Monkeys are great

Personally I don't like when they continue to make sequels when a movie is well past its prime..... I'll rent this when it comes out, but my expectations aren't too high.... (I'm thinking "Rocky Balboa" or "Alien Vs Predator" )

I also thought Transformers was HORRIBLE, so it just goes to show, everyone has different tastes, so I rarely pre-judge movies based on reviews.

The main problem people are having is that they want too much of the 80s indy, that was 20 years ago of course it won't be as fresh. If you think to hard you make no enjoy it. If you just go with the ride you will have fun! Simple as that. I thought Tarzan was funny, and yes I love monkeys, and gophers they were hilarious.

I saw it last night & it was a good movie!!!! I'd give it 4 stars out of 5!!!!! Can't wait for it on blu-ray!!!!

Saw it yesterday and enjoyed it quite a bit. My only complaint is the VERY over used matte back grounds. I know Lucas had his hand in that and they should have blended better.

I thought it stayed very true to the Indiana Jones franchise. If everyone is expecting it to be exactly like the older ones though they will be disappointed. Its a new age Indy.

How do you figure? It had less action, less comedy, and was way over the top and very unrealistic. How about the plot and ending? I was very disapointed.

So I just watched an old Andy Lau, Hong Kong film called "Magic Crystal" its from 1986

its basically an Indiana Jones esque film with martial arts


the really odd thing is though... its almost like Spielberg watched it before making KOTCS

The russians are the enemy also

there's also a lost city raided @ the end which has an Alien/ship in it

instead of the Crystal Skull though its a big piece of Jade and the Jade is needed to be taken to the Alien to resurrect him so he can fly home

the jade also talks telepathically to the person wielding it


but instead of the site being in south america its greece

so many OTHER similarities I just had to post it somewhere
