I watched with the English DD 2.0 track without subtitles and for around six scenes sporadically placed in the movie, Italian subtitles switched themselves on for the duration of the scene then off for the next scene. There was no way to remove them.

I tried it on two different players and the same thing happened which was highly annoying.

I also tried to the Italian DTS-HD track and for about a minute it played HD in English, the switched the the Italian dub.

Did anyone else have this issue or do I have a duff disk?

Thanks for confirming,

I'll have to go back and translate the disclaimer as Italian in not a language I am familiar with. I assumed it was a standard piracy notice you get before most films load.

It seems to be a strange one, apart from this the film and picture quality were excellent.
This sounds like the all too common issue of an incomplete dubbed audio track. The parts that were either lost (or in some cases, never dubbed) are replaced with original audio and relevant subtitles.
