Default Stupid silly question about how big your collection is

I was asked once by one of my friends how many movies I had. I paused for a moment to think and wasn't sure how to answer her. I was wondering if I should tell her the number of cases I have, the number of actual movies I have including counting multiple movies on a single disc, or count the sets. How do you all keep stats?

I usually just say 'a lot' but if pressed I focus on number of movies rather than sets or discs.

I don't have any friends that collect Blu-rays. So nobody cares how many I have. My wife Doesn't even watch movies. Only TV. I keep track of movies I own with the software on this site so that's the number I would use.

Default let's see how that plays out...

"My collection is 70 inches wide "

I don't count duplicate films in differrnt packaging. Then again, I only have 1 duplicate and avoid keeping more than 1 copy of the same film in my collection. So, the number associated to my account on this site (-1) is the number that I use.

What do you count The Hobbit and The Hobbit Extended Edition as?
1 or 2?
