had a couple of guys at a theater one time when my wife and I were watching a movie, they were talking and being loud. I finally turned around and said " please be quite" and they said "turn around a you be quite" oh and then i got pissed and said "Shut up or go home"

well after the movie was over they decided to follow my wife and I back to our truck and when i saw them coming i opened my door, reached in back and introduced them 2 to a louisville bat. they thought about it and then turned around and walked away. i felt bad for my wife as she was pretty scared. now she has a gun permit and I do also to carry concealed, not that i would ever want to use one at anytime. but it doesnt hurt to know hoe to use one.

I've had several and most of them involve people talking and me moving to the most remote part of the theater. In fact, i usually just go to the front now as everyone avoids it like the plague, but the very back row of the front section is actually pretty awesome at the theater i frequent. Specific instances of craptasticness were: having the projector break right before Return of the King started (got refund and went to another theater) and having There Will be Blood out of focus for about 20 minutes before completely stopping right in the middle of the oil gusher climax. Luckily, I had already seen it twice and we got two free passes a piece.

I would be SO pissed if that happened. BUT it was a woman and a man never hits a woman. You should have punched the guy instead lol.

My WORST experience was during Doomsday.

They played the movie and I watched the whole thing.

I was at LOTR: Two Towers or something, either the second or the third one, I forget, but anyways, about 15 minutes into the movie, one person behind me and my friend threw up all over the place, it smelled so bad I had to leave the theater.

The Kingdom - a couple of people got into a screaming match until they were escorted out. We got a free pass for that one.

There's the crying children problem, but that doesn't infuriate me nearly as much as the punks who openly make calls and discuss the movie during the movie with no effort to be quiet. This will happen not in a sell out theater, b/c they'd get their ass kicked, but in one of those half-filled shows. It's like the obnoxious laugher problem only worse.

Had the power go out once, audience had to use cell phones to light the way out once we realized it wasn't gonna come back on anytime soon.

Once when I was little I had a drunk guy accuse me of kicking him until my dad/uncle had him kicked out.

The above post must have been deleted, but I wanted to respond to it. I would have punched both that guy and the girl in the nose for spitting in my face and saying what they said. No need in being rude like that, and in my opinion spitting in someone's face or slapping them is lowest of the low.

Alien 3.... The movie was packed and no one would move over so me and my friends could sit together so I walked to the front of the theater stood in front of the screen and waited for the movie to start. Some guy was going to shoot me with a spitball and I told him he hit me with a spitball and it would be the last one he would ever spit. I told everyone I would stand there and watch the movie unless they would move over...

Most people I find are mean and rude with the exception of true movie fans that want the full experience. Now I can understand why the illuminati wants to thin the world population by 5 Billion people....

If I remember correctly the woman was pregnant and the guy was an extra large lump. I was, and still am a light 130-ish pounds. Yeah, I know that machismo yada yada (it's not the size of the dog - it's the fight in the dog), but no good would have come from using my fists - it wasn't a life and death situation. One reason I've never been completely convinced that concealed weapons are a good thing for the general population are instances that arise such as this, because if I had had one I'd probably be cooling my heels in lockup with a traumatized wife and lots of legal bills. America has more people in prison per capita than anywhere else in the world, and I bet many are there because they failed to exercise self-control.

Yeah the prisons seem to be full. And, no the liberal approach of rehabilitation does not work.

That's not only horrible to hear, but that's really quite scary. I'm glad nothing like that's ever happened to me.

My response to rude people in the theater: Actually I wouldn't resort to violence, I would pull out my disintegration gun and make them disappear....

If only I actually had one of those....

AND he should have told the manager: "Don't worry, I decked him hard!" See the manager's reaction then! I guarantee that the manager won't ignore it! What a stupid retard! It doesn't take a rocket scientist to run a theater.

+1 Oddly enough, it seems like the less people in the theater there are, the more people there are that talk. I have seen it time and again that this is the case.

I went to see I Am Legend and there were about 20 people in the theater. One group of three talked the whole time. I went to see a midnight showing of Prince Caspian which was completely full, and no one talked. I also saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (new one) with a packed theater full of kids and no one talked. Go figure.

Yes. Because they think since there isn't as much people, no one will care if they're as loud as they wish. Tedious.
