Amazon Question - Blu-ray Forum

So I just became a Prime member of Amazon and I'm loving the two-day shipping for movies that I've been wanting to buy on blu. My question is: When you preorder a movie do they ship it so that it arrives the day it is released or is it usually sitting in your mailbox two days after the release? I had heard stories of being there on the day of the release and this whole delay on the Paramount films has thrown me for a loop. I pre-ordered the re-release of Coming to America. Thanks for any help!

hit or miss. sometimes i will get in ON release day and sometimes within 2 days after. i would say 'most' of the time, i will get it day after release or 2 days after. few rare cases i get it ON release day.

Sounds like I need to sign up for AP as this is where I'm buying all of my blue ray disks now. Appreciate the information.
