I agree the game is sorta a on-rails type. The visuals look impressive so far.

Hmm, locked up on me during the tutorial so that's not a good sign. Hopefully just a fluke though...

Edit: Working fine since so I guess it was just a fluke. Some earlier mentioned Pain and the character and why they get thrown around does remind me of that.

Locked up again, this time during the 2nd trial. Each time it happened right after I pressed the screenshot (share) button so maybe it doesn't like that. Guess I'll forgo that for the time being to see how it goes.

Edit: Definitely seems related to the screenshot/share button. I completed the 2nd trial and then tried to take a screenshot during the replay of it and it locked immediately. Grr...I love taking screenshots so that is kind of a downer but oh well, maybe it'll get patched again. It also failed to connect to the Ubisoft servers that 2nd time I started it.

Edit 2: Tracks are really crazy and a lot of fun.

Did you buy the physical or download?

I picked up the retail & returned the login fantasy game.

I bought the physical copy. As far as locking, it seems to work fine if I don't take screenshots so I guess I just won't do that for now. I hope they can fix that though. It finally did connect to the Ubisoft servers but it takes a while at the beginning (didn't the first time though) and it is a pain after a trial because it takes a while to submit the results. I also typically just skipped seeing my result on the leaderboard because I'd get tired of waiting. Hopefully they can iron things out because the gameplay seems like a lot of fun.

Edit: Can't seem to connect to their servers at all now so I reset the router to see if that helps.

Tons of lag with my PS4 once I put the game in & I started it by accident. I was just trying to verify my season pass code under game settings.

After getting to the main menu when PSN could not connect with Ubisoft

, I backed out & saw an update file already. It was just a 35mb one. Did you back out of the game & close it to get the update file & load up game with the update? If so, did that help with screen shots?

I wanna try this game later tonight. It should be a blast. I enjoyed the previous Trial games.

I think maybe the PS Store should have its own app. 4 games added today there. This seamless transition to the store & back usually just results in the blue wavy screen 9 times out of 10. I actually put the system in standby mode & then re booted console & then no problem getting in PS Store to redeem Trials code.

I recently visited the PS3 PS Store & noticed less lag there then PS4!

I started the game after the initial install but it told me about the update so I backed out, did the update and ran it again.

Maybe something weird was going on earlier. Eventually, I couldn't connect anymore but trying it just a little while ago I was able to connect just fine, the results after the trials were uploaded quickly and I was able to take a screenshot (although I only tried once since I didn't want to press my luck).

Oh, and I took a few minutes to reclaim the best time on the track you had beaten me.

I like how it notified me. It's weird though. You're the only one that shows up on the leaderboards even though other people on my friends list played the game. I had the same issue at times with Rayman Legends.

The program was definitely running much better in the early morning hours network/server-wise but I do still have the screenshot issue. Decided to press my luck and try another one and it locked up again. I filled out the comment field on the error report this time so hopefully someone looks at those and someone at Ubisoft or Sony can fix that. Is anyone else having that issue? Hopefully it's not just me having it.

Great, thanks! I doubt my scores will be hard to beat. I'm currently pretty happy if I can finish the track with 0 faults. The tracks are great though and I'm also looking forward to trying to make my own. I took a quick look at the track creator last night and I like what I've seen so far.

Yeah, it is my first one also so I feel the same way. Ha, I'm already stuck on the "bunny hop" training exercise but hopefully I'll get the timing down for that sooner or later.

Edit: Finally got past the bunny hop but I wouldn't say I mastered it.

I just did the first race after tutorial 1 time. I'm not a stranger to the game but am also not that good especially when I'll reach these insane levels.

If you have not played a trials game before, you are all in for a shock at how hard the expert levels are.

I played the demo last night and I have been a fan of these kinds of games for years and years. I was very happy with it after playing last night and will be buying it soon. As mentioned, the game can be quite challenging...
