Final Exam and Graduation Day are seriously my two favorite 80s Slashers.
The former, is a slow burn and some people just don't have patience. The latter is just 100% sleazy cheesy fun.

I'm not a fan of Final Exam at all. I watched it once and that was enough. I only got through it so I could say I've seen it.

Graduation Day, if I recall, has a ridiculously long Prom Night-style chase scene. It's worth the money for that alone.

Directed by Danny Steinmann of F13th Part V fame. I read a great interview with him that was given before he passed away.

I know how you feel. It's in my top 20. That said, it's currently beat out (in the horror genre) by Gremlins, Army of Darkness, Phantom of the Paradise, and Jaws.

Gremlins is one I need to get on Blu.

I can't even begin to make a list of favorites. Night of the Creeps, Severence, Black Sheep '07, and Splinter round out my Top 5. Too hard to decide beyond that. I have eclectic tastes, I guess.

Don't get why you wouldn't want the songs, the soundtrack is one of the best movie soundtracks EVER!

Oh yes, it is my favorite film soundtrack. I just used having the workprint as an example of my love for the movie. I am a completist.

And regarding Buffy The Vampire Slayer, I get the feeling that this forum is a lot younger than I had originally thought because that show is arguably the reason we are currently experiencing The Golden Era Of Television right now. Absolutely transformational and exceptional on all levels. You guys can look forward to your Pumpkinheads, your Final Exams and your Game Of Thrones, but there will NEVER be a show like Buffy The Vampire Slayer again.
