Default Come on George! Enough Is Enough - Star Wars: Clone Wars

Ok, I have to say it. Don't hate me. Why oh why does George think we need yet ANOTHER SW movie? Come on already.

Anyone else think he's beyond milking the darn thing already? I love SW and all but jeesh, give me a break. He has only reinvented the wheel 20 times.

I don't think George Lucas thinks we need another star wars movie, I think the Star Wars fans think we need another Star Wars movie.

Nobody is making you go see it, if people didn't keep seeing them over and over, he wouldn't keep making them.

Personally I see a Star Wars movie coming out every 3-5 years until I die and I also see (well, its already in production) Star Wars TV shows. People eat it up.

At least George Lucas has come to the realization that all he wants to do is make CGI movies. Thank god, he is not good at mixing live action with CGI.

I agree, I am so over what's been done to star wars. I hope indiana jones isn't the next casualty. Save movies from their directors!

Glad someone agrees. Lol.

Like I said, I have nothing against SW, I just think Lucas is beyond beating a petrified horse now.

I agree I love Star Wars...but with the damage done by Episode I, II and III enough is enough. They are getting progressively worse with III being by far the worst of the series. The acting was just terrible...I wanted to cut out my own heart and replace it with a bag of dog shi$. I guess some people are nerdy enough to see a Star Wars movie regardless of the quality. For the series sake I think they should stop...but if George Lucas is anything like me.. I love money

I disagree about 3 being the worst. I felt movies became better with each release. SW3 also did a nice job of tying into SW4.

Maybe I misspoke...content wise III was good I agree..all of them are great from a content perspective. From an acting standpoint and an actual entertainment quality for a guy who doesn't go to conventions (not saying you do)...it was rubbish acting. I was laughing most of the movie at the over acting being done. What are you going to do though....Hayden Christiansen what a sally if they are going to use rubbish actors they could have booked someone with more balls.

I wouldn't necessarily mind another SW movie, but what I do mind is everything based on the prequels these days. Hello, George? Your original trilogy was better...

I liked the 1st and last Star Wars the best. Didn't care much for the rest.
I think that the casting for all of them was horrible with the exception of Harrison Ford and James Earl Jones.
Now with Indiana Jones we have the introduction of the new Mark Hamil. Shia Lebouf is another girly man type that Lucas is trying to sell as a hero. Both of those guys are about as manly as Ferris Bueller.

Think of it as a theatrically released pilot for the new TV series that starts in September. Which is, of course, what it is.

George doesn't.

Cartoon Network does.

It's a TV pilot.

That's why it's coming out from Warner.

And why it's not a "real" Star Wars film, like the Fox ones.

(Difficult words explained on request.)

I agree. This is 1 of 2 movies that ive ever walked out on in the theatre, and i walked out on it twice. It took me until last year to actually enjoy watching ep. III. If you only have to act as good as hayden then sign me up for the next one! I could use the money.

I agree. It was disappointing enough to see that lame face when luke unmasks Vador in ROTJ. But to go back and see Vador was a gay little kid, then a fruity young man really hurt the series. They should have gotten someone with masculinity. I thought Vador was supposed to be commanding and badass. Then the story for EP III was nonsense. Anakin goes to the dark side to save his wife, then ends up choking the shit out of her? How dumb does Lucas think I am? He thinks he can have a terrible story, acting, and script. And Ill buy it because it has Star Wars stamped on it. **** that! I like Star Wars but he let his fans down with that half ass excuse for a movie.

We can skip through hate, because I already suffered through EP III.

LOL.

i enjoyed episodes 1-3, but i will never understand the casting of hayden, he was just aweful. I think one of the problems with making the prequals, is that you lose the mystique that surround lord vader........i think we can all agree on that.

I loved the "Nooooooooooooo" line that Vader drops at the end of episode III, so corny yet so great at the same time.
