Going to go out on a limb here and say: dust-no feasible chance of scratching. Sand- the potential scratches from sand can be avoided by refraining from taking your steels to the beach or perusing your collection in the vicinity of any local sand pits. Hope this helps!

You could always air dust them before you put them away at the beach

Just got some of these. Do you have your flaps folded in or outside the box? Just worried that the semi hard plastic flaps on the sleeve will scratch the steelbook when sliding in our out. Also they are kind of pain getting it to fold up right without the flaps popping up on some of them. Is there a trick to it?

I just got mine yesterday and put all of my steelbooks in them when I got home. I put the flaps folded inside, on the back side of each steelbook. I didn't find the cases difficult to fold up. I just took my time doing one at a time. Out of the 70 plus that I did, I only had 3 where I couldn't get the top flap to stay closed. For the price these are a great value and do the job. The only thing I had to do when done getting all my steelbooks into them, was rearrange my media rack as the cases now take up a bit more room than just the unprotected steelbooks.

Yeah after putting all mine in there were 3 or 4 that I just gave up on with the flaps lol. These do looks great though....makes the steels look extra glossy.

Just ordered another 50 from videogameprotectors site for $35 shipped. They had a coupon code THREE_YEARS for like 10% off or something. Cant wait... have a few steelies left naked in my collection without any covers.

I may get a 25 pack of these to try. I figure since my Marvel steels don't get taken out much I will use these for them.

Yes. They are the cases for the PS3/4.

They are listed as: PlayStation 3/4 PS3 & PS4 Box

FYI, pack of 25 video game box protextors (w/ shipping):

From ebay: $22.99
From their website: $20.45 using the 10% off code: THREE_YEARS

Not a huge difference, but thought I'd mention it

Not sire since I do not have any of the kimchi ones but the pics of The Nightmare Before Christmas make these look really nice.

I think the quality is great, but they won't fit all sealed steelbooks. They do not fit full slip steels or ones that have thicker cards like the Zavvi Disney steels have. I've had no issues fitting other sealed releases though, and my sealed 1/4 slip Kimchidvd Tangled fits fine too. But it's not a solution for fitting everything like the Kimchi ones seem to be.

I can't fit everything in the Kimchi ones either, they look perfect on the 1/4 slips though.

They won't work for sealed steels, Liz. They are quite a bit smaller in width than the Kimchi ones.

I do like them though. Got a 25 pack over the weekend and am putting all my Lenticular steels (The German MM ones) in there for better protection.

I couldn't get my Iron Man 3 Taiwan in there when I tried. It's got really smooth shrink-wrap but I guess the j-card slip was just too thick. Although it's not as thick as the Zavvi Disney's like you said.
