of correct, IF there was actually a thousand remaining. but titles like flint proved that they didn't update the site with ALL the titles available because it would drop to below 500 a couple times and then be replenished to a full 1000 ...meaning that it wasn't completely accurate unless you kept track of how many times it replenished to get a total of how many sold so far

I didn't get that email but what about "the driver" and "hard times"? those were on the 500-700 list last time I checped

I'm looking to sell my entire TT collection (which includes Body Double, Christine, The Fury, JTTCOTE, Mysterious Island, both Sinbads). See my collection for all my TT titles.

PM me if interested. It's first come first served.

I'm looking to buy The Blob. I'm trying to understand how this all works. I can preorder it, or do I have to outright buy it? Is the preorder date months before? Or exactly a month before release at a certain time. Never bought TT before.

Thanks for your help.

Keep an eye on the first posting in this thread, which is always updated with information about future titles and release dates (as they are announced), along with the date and time that the next round of pre-orders go up (when it's announced). Each month's releases go up for pre-order roughly three weeks prior to the release date, always (so far) on a Wednesday, and at 3:00pm Eastern (US) Time.

The Blob hasn't been specifically scheduled yet, but it's supposedly planned to be an October release, which means that it will be up for pre-order most likely the third Wednesday in September.

If you want to be sure to get a copy, you'll have to pre-order it when the pre-orders go live. A number of TT releases have sold out, but rarely sell out that quickly, so you might be OK putting it off a few days or even weeks, but there are no guarantees.

Quite frankly, I don't understand the mania about this particular title. Sure, it's an enjoyable movie, but the way people keep asking about it, one would think it must be the greatest movie ever made. Different squids for different kids, I guess.

I that because it's a mainstream 80s horror movie there's the realistic expectation it will perform comparable to Christine.

I noticed this a long time ago, as I'm sure many other people did as well.
Thank you (to you and the others who replied). My computer had been running on a somewhat outdated OS for a long long time and I thought maybe that had something to do with it. It's good to know that this is normal.

Well, I'll do my part for the cause and not pre-order a copy so they'll be one more copy available for someone else. Like I said, I enjoyed it back when, but I don't feel compelled to own a copy.

I'm sure it can, I'm just wondering how easy it is. Maybe I'll try it on thunderbolt and lightfoot and see if I can complete a second order with a dummy account using the same address/payment.

I ordered Rollerball and Sexy Beast yesterday (I didn't check the backorder box though so I think I'll need to wait on the latter until the former's release), and I couldn't resist buying Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia and Thunderbolt And Lightfoot today, since they're running out of stock. These are my first T.T. titles. I probably won't buy too many in general because, frankly, I can't afford to (plus the selection is so varied I'm not interested in a lot of the releases), but I have my eye on two more for another month. Oh, plus The Blob remake later in the year, but then everybody wants that .

I asked Twilight Time on Facebook if any of the Truffaut films owned by MGM might be released through the label yesterday (noting how this year is an Anniversary year) and received a response today indicating that "we have one of those titles upcoming, and perhaps others will follow." So at least one Truffaut film released by MGM is coming and more might be released as well.
