Same here.

I also agree about doing the separate Keaton films. There are also other silent films included as special features of sorts on some releases if you wanted to include those.

Ten Commandments (Silent version included in the 6-Disc Ultimate Collector's Edition)
Wizard of Oz (Several silent films included in the 3-Disc Emerald Edition)
Ben-Hur (Silent version included in the Ultimate Collector's Edition)

I would love to see a few Louise Brooks films Blu. Pandora's Box is in my top ten of all time favourite films and needs a release and Diary of a Lost Girl and Beggars of Life would be essential releases for me as well.

The 1925 Ben Hur is on a blu-ray disc, but only in standard def on the Ben Hur (1959) set. Just watched it for Easter.

Thanks for this thread. I think I'll have to check out "Die Niebelungen," I remember seeing pictures of the Siegfried and the dragon section of the movie many years ago and I always was curious about where that came from. Sounds like a great movie.

I hope someone releases "The Last Laugh" at some point, that is one of my favorite silent movies and I have been putting off buying it cause I don't really want a DVD of a movie like that which is so historically notable that it seems like a bluray release must be inevitable. "Fall of the House of Usher" and "Faust" seem like two more no-brainers, but who knows if we'll see either.

EDIT: Wow, the masters of cinema release of Passion of Joan of Arc doesn't have the Richard Einhorn score? That was one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard, silent film or not...guess I'll have to get the criterion DVD instead.
