I do:
Movies #-Z
TV shows #-Z

Tv Shows that have movies go with TV Shows (with the exception of Star Trek '09 and Into Darkness. I refuse to put those near the "Prime Universe!")

I'd like to propose a change to the Title Database with regards to how it organizes "The Ultimate Matrix Collection".
As it stands currently, when viewing our collections alphabetically, "The Ultimate Matrix Collection" doesn't show up in the M's like you'd expect it to. It shows up in the U's. When users take a look at their collection on this site and try to find "The Matrix", it won't be hanging out with Master & Commander - it's over there with U-571. I think that's wrong.

I propose a change be made to the database, allowing for the phrase "The Ultimate" to be added to the approved list of prefixes the database already intelligently disregards, like the word "The". (Which allows titles like "The Alien Anthology" to show up in the A's as opposed to in the T's)
If anyone wants to lend their voices to support this effort, please do....or if this is something worth debating, let's do that as well.
Thanks very much!

I agree. There's no reason this, and others like it, can't be listed as Matrix Collection, The Ultimate. And the same should be done with collections titled with "The Complete" (Matrix Collection, The Complete - if one existed). They should all stay in the same neighborhood as their brothers, sisters, aunts and uncles.

# - Z is the onIy way to go. Movies, TV Shows all mixed together in order. The Only exception is sequels. So, Casino Royal is in the C's, but then there's Quantum of Solace then Skyfall. Or, another example is Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises.

But, to his point, I do have The Ultimate Matrix Collection in the M's.

+1. Ive got the UK set which is called "Complete" I think (it isnt!) and it should be listed under M for Matrix not C for Complete!

I watched the first movie on the big screen last night and this transfer is starting to show its age. There is filtering and edge enhancement applied not to mention it's a low bit VC-1 encode. It doesn't look awful, but not up to the better handled catalog titles for sure. Perhaps for 4K these will be re-done although I haven't watched the sequels yet.

I've never liked the rejigged colour of that transfer either, skin tones sometimes look strangely oversaturated with orange.

I don't know...I mean I never go looking for it under M. The package is titled "Ultimate Matrix Collection". Your real beef should be with Warner. It's not like using "the" at the beginning of something. So I vote No.

Over the last three days I've watched all three films as well as Animatrix. Now I'm watching all the extras, I love the "Revisited" features

Yeah I agree the Matix should look perfect considering it's place in movie history/popularity/success/genre. The Blu Ray needs remastered imho from a talented studio or something! I don't know why it looks less impressive than I remember it, I guess DVD on CRT covered up it's flaws or when they did the transfer to Blu-Ray they didn't take their time or something.

The Dolby True 5.1 soundtrack impressed me more than the Blu-Ray video quality on The Matrix Blu-Ray. A remaster would have me jumping all over that Blu Ray Ultimate Blu-Ray collection if they fixed it, but I can wait on it. I still would like to see a JCVD kicks in bullet time haha! Maybe Expendables 3/4 will do it, I doubt it though someone needs to pass that along to Sly...

I think new members can't add links right away (?), but, if not, perhaps he can just copy the web addresses and paste them in?

Yeah, plus he's in Poland, and I don't know what release he may be looking at.

The 7-disc set may be this Australian one:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/The-U...-Blu-ray/8809/

I suspect it's something minor, like the digital copy is an extra disc instead of a paper code.
