Sexy Beast is superb! Watched it the other night after seeing Under The Skin and becoming infatuated with Glazer's work.

Thanks so much for this. I must have overlooked this one. I'm gonna swing by my store tomorrow for Royal Tenenbaums and Frances Ha. Saw them there a couple weeks back.

Careful. A lot of the Olive $12.99 titles are DVDs. Great movies in there, though.

I love gift cards on Amazon cause if there is a refund needed its instant so no need to wait to buy a replacement or new Blu lol whereas with bank its like waiting a week for bank to give back to you lol

My current Amazon basket is £301, 11 Criterion Titles >.< few are trilogies though, but most are upgrades from my DVD set... ://

I just can't bring myself to update the majority of my DVDs (unless the blu-ray discs are going incredibly cheap). I keep trying to justify the huge image upgrade and possible extras (or extra extras, hah), but I still have that niggle in the back of my head that it's a waste of money. Bah.

I feel that but when I see the comparison images Im like.. NEED THAT.

I also try to update the DVD's that have older criterion covers (old artwork and old logos on cover).

I don't think I will upgrade them all, but would like to get most upgraded now, the ones I'm putting off are the box sets as they were £50+ each and would rather get the single releases out the way.

Plus a lot of DVDs don't have upgrades yet which I'm thankful for haha! - but when Criterion make announcement I'm not fussed about, I use that time to upgrade as I'm not really buying anything new (unless I see an old release I want).

I've never regretted upgrading, plus can always trade/sell DVD version ^^

The worst thing about upgrading though is you can't update the 'MY COLLECTION" site, the number won't go up as you already had on list which is annoying lol

When I first started collecting I only had DVD player you see, so I was debating whether to just do the Blu's and hold off but I wanted to watch them and stuff so gave in, but managed to find blurry player cheap from America, now I regret not getting Blu's to start with lol (I had never had a bluray player before so wasn't sure it ws worth upgrading DVD's to Bluray.. an I like buying used DVDs for 1p on Amazon lol.)

When I first posted in this thread about a year and half ago, I stated that I had no intention to upgrade all my Criterion DVDs to Blu-rays.

Ahhhh... I was so young and naive.
