I test-ordered it and it came to $39.10 for me.
Shipping varies, but you're in the States too, so it should be similar.

It will probably drop in price before release date.

You must be in the west coast, maybe. Hoping the 3d is at least ok.

I like it! Much better experience than when I saw it in 2D theatrically. The thrill is worth it.

Not sure what to think about this 3D release. I saw the film today for the first time and was greatly impressed by it. It's a visually marvelous film, too, and lends itself to being something that would look great in 3D. However, as this was a conversion and not an effort done in native 3D I am just not sure if it's really going to be impressive. Add to that fact that the filmmaker is not a fan of 3D and this was a studio mandated 3D conversion for the global release outside of the US and many other territories, and I'm not sure if it would be worth importing. The early words aren't exactly inspiring me to consider it but I am curious anyway as a 3D fan.

I picked up the Target exclusive which is probably the closest to a 'director approved' edition, with all of the bonus materials. I also think the artwork on the slip is fitting. Comparatively, I'm not sure how I feel about the art of the steelbook, but I am also someone who is a major steelbook fan (and it sure outclasses the standard art under the exclusive slip version).

So the German edition would have a steelbook and 3D presentation (two things I love), but the 3D might be bad, and I sort of prefer the slipcover artwork on the Target one, which is basically a director approved quality of release.

Hmmm.... I should probably stick to the one I have but I am still wondering about the 3D.

IMO, the 3D conversion is very good. Stereography has come a long way since Clash of the Titans 3D & The Last Airbender attempts. The depth is very noticeable = pronounced; people, backgrounds, campfires, etc. It adds realism to the epic.

The Hong Kong version has only the region-free Blu-ray 3D disc. The HD-Slim case and cover-insert are entirely in English, as well as the overview and specifications. Looks like a U.S. edition. The only foreign language printed on the package is a sticker placed on the cellophane rap that you discard when you open it. Audio track defaults to English as first choice.

I am very interested in this 3D title. On the DDDHouse website I also saw Captain Harlock 3D, Hole 3D and Sammy's Adventure 3D. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but can anyone comment on these? Would they play on Region A? I thought I read that Harlock had an english dubbed version. Is that true? I figure if I order the Noah 3D I might give these others a shot.

Sammy's Adventure - I got from DDDHouse and it will play on your machine and really is must own for 3D, it has incredible 3D.

I don't know about the other 2.

I'm looking forward to hearing some reviews on Noah 3D. I'm a little hesitant to pull the trigger on this one.

The only version of THE HOLE that I see on their website is actually a 2D version (THE HOLE 3D [2D version]). I bought this expecting 3D and was disappointed.

THE HOLE is a lot of fun. It's somewhat geared to adolescents, but it's directed by Joe Dante, who knows and loves old monster movies. The only region-free 3D version that I know of is a Dutch steelbook edition, which I was able to get on eBay for about $20.
