i agree 100%, I personally think its what is wrong with gaming these days. Its almost like a free to play game where they hound you for tons of money to unlock items. Only difference is you pay $80 to play the initial game. Worst thing is they have characters that don't have playsets. you just buy the character so you have have a gun or something and to run around the toybox. I think this could be an amazing experience if handled differently, but with such huge sales, its not going to be handled any differently (most likely)

How is Skylanders handled? I have no idea about that game. I know you buy characters like disney infinity, but do they all have their own story to play through or are you just buying characters to unlock a few items?
