It's pretty good. I'm not the video/audio file like some people here, but I've seen better and I've seen worse. I would bet if you got it you'd be happy.

Interested to see the results from Kino.

What is crappy about that release is the cover art...I know Kino will at least up that piece.

Kino just hinted Breakheart Pass on FB. I'll hold off on the German From Noon Till Three for now.

If true that's some really great news. So glad Kino is getting these rather than Twilight Time. $10 savings per movie starts adding up, although I'll miss the subs that TT offers.

Do we know what the pricing will be? Many of the Kino titles I have purchased have been between $25 and $30, so I doubt there will be much difference in pricing.

Well I assume they will be $29.95 SRP, which on Amazon should make it in the low $20's or cheaper if you wait. I can't these being special edition with more special features and higher SRP (which will be a good thing since we're getting more), but I guess we'll see.

I would say the average will be between $20 and $25 probably on Amazon, maybe less on pre-orders.

And they won't be limited to 3000 and you will be able to buy them at any number of online retailers (and likely Barnes and Noble) any time you want. Go Kino!

Yeah, I think (hope) they'll use the original theatrical artwork. The German cover was abysmal.

"Mean little ass kicker like you need a gun?!" Butt of shotgun to the taint.

Bronson is too bad ass.

Cool

Not really related, other than it's Another KINO release of a Charles Bronson film (late 2014), but "BREAKHEART PASS" is coming out now as well.

Charles-Bronson-BREAKHEART-PASS.jpg

Quote:
U.S. distributors Kino Lorber have revealed that they are preparing a Blu-ray release of Tom Gries' western Breakheart Pass (1975), starring Charles Bronson, Ben Johnson, Richard Crenna, Jill Ireland, Charles Durning, Ed Lauter, and Sally Kirkland. The release, which will be part of the distributors' new Studio Classics line, is expected to arrive on the U.S. market later this year.

Synopsis: Charles Bronson (The Magnificent Seven, Death Wish) is at his dynamic, heroic best in this suspenseful, action-packed mystery/western based on the best-selling novel by Alistair MacLean (Where Eagles Dare). At the height of the frontier era, a locomotive races through the Rocky Mountains on a classified mission to a remote Army post. But one by one, the passengers are being murdered! Their only hope is John Deakin (Bronson), a mysterious prisoner-in-transit who must fight for his life - and the lives of everyone on the train - as he uncovers a deadly secret that explodes in a torrent of shocking revelations, explosive brawls and blazing gun battles.

Yes I too think the German cover is not that hot, but will stick with it. This is not a title I will double dip on.

LOVE the original art! Shame they **** up on the font on this release too, though. Looks better than the font for Breakheart Pass, and it is placed better too.

Do the releases from this company come with slipcases?
