The Marvel superhero film will serve as a reunion for Cathey and Jordan, as Jordan got his start on The Wire.

Miles Teller and Jamie Bell round out the adventuresome quartet that gains incredible superpowers. Josh Trank is directing the film, which is currently filming in Louisiana.

Dr. Doom kidnaps Dr. Storm (who will have Doc Emmit style hair) and reverses the functionality of his Voodoo machine (which originally allows people to have free energy) to cause a second Katrina style hurricane in Louisiana. It's up to the FF4 to stop this weather disaster from happening:

Dr. Doom (talking to The Thing): You know what happens when a Thing is struck by lightning? The same as when it hits everything else.

I would bet anything that is pretty damn close to how they really come up with these casting choices.

Let's face it---you see two trains barreling down the track for a head on collision and then someone says, "Thank god nobody is onboard either train!"

Tell me you'd look away.
This is gonna be super entertaining from now until the opening weekend box office numbers and beyond.

And somebody at Fox will say, "I wish we had an inkling that this wasn't what the fans wanted-----the buzz was real good right until the last minute."

I re-read the article posted above and something struck me - they are currently filming and there are still people joining the cast?

Is that normal?

I can't believe this movie is supposed to be coming out in a year.

Just yesterday, two new voice additions were announced for Transformers:AoE. I wouldn't say it's entirely abnormal. Filming can begin with the people already cast, then put off filming the scenes requiring uncast characters.

Reg Cathay plays Reed's genius mentor---so he can't be dim-witted.

Remember in the comic Reed had a mentor and it was Johnny's African-American scientist dad?

And they're filming in baton Rogue La. because of it's resemblance to "Central City" Ca.

When I think of northern California I always first think Baton Rogue La.

Also remember how in the comic Ben was a skinny 5' 7 inch 20-something---well they nailed it by hiring a 5' 7 inch 20 something!

I always hated how in the 1960's cartoons and the 1990s cartoons and the two previous movies they had the Ben Grimm actor have this kind of gruff deep voice! WTF? Now they properly have him played by a short, skinny guy with a high voice!

I thought the last F4 team was pretty solid. Didn't need a remake but whatever. Maybe this time we can actually see Galactus.

I hope so too! I'm sure with their sub $100 million dollar budget we'll get Galactus the Surfer and the Watcher all walking around New York.
