It was, like so much action/violence/gore in the late 70s and early 80s, edited heavily to receive an R rating. There is apparently a cut with those and a few other, minor plot lines included though I've never seen it. Nothing officially released, mind you. Great flick.

Final Exam and Evilspeak arrived today (from MovieTyme). Looking forward to digging into those. Can't wait until Sleepaway Camp at the end of the month. But then that's it for me from SF until The Final Terror and Deadly Eyes in July. How will I survive June .

It probably is more fun not knowing, cause June is a super skimpy month. Only two releases: Ravenous, and Monkey's Paw (I have no idea wtf Monkey's Paw is. I guess one of those Chiller releases?).

Just ordered Evilspeak and Final Exam at Diabolik DVD. They just got them in stock today, and I'm hoping to have them by Tuesday. For anyone looking for an alternative to Amazon for Scream titles, check out Diabolik DVD. Their prices are similar to Amazon, but they will send out orders as soon as they get them in, and you don't have to pay for Amazon Prime for good and fast service.

Get ravenous? I haven't seen the movie since it was released but I remember it being really solid. Although about as far from a 80s slasher in style as possible.

Ravenous is pretty much the only bluray I'm getting in June....I've been looking forward to it for a long time. Very, very solid movie with Guy Pearce and Robert Carlyle.

June is quiet for me, Arrow's The Burbs and Second Sights ReAnimator is all Im getting, nothing from Scream or Shout or anyone else.
July looks semi-quiet at the moment -only four Deadly Eyes, Curtains , Time Machine + Mr. Peabody and the Mermaid (yeah ONLY four I know I know) there is a chance for more
August is a big one... and Im sure Sept-Oct will be horror heavy from all the studios- there is Lord of Illusions and Pumpkinhead after the Summer of Fear . October has Twilight Time's the Blob..Im sure Prom Night and the Argento films from Synapse will be ready by then...and Kino has some titles of interest also..

I liked it too. Very unique movie with an extra-creepy performance from Carlyle. Great soundtrack too!

Does anyone else have preorders for Evilspeak, Final Exam, and Nosferatu directly through Shout and have their order status as backordered? Kind of strange they'd be on backorder since they're not even out yet. Every other preorder I have is in process.

This is my first time ordering from Shout directly and still haven't received an email that Final Exam shipped which comes out Tuesday. Is that normal for them to not have shipped this late? I'm also expecting two 10 dollar coupons with the email from that march madness sale.

To answer your question and to answer mine above, my of Final Exam and Evilspeak shows shipped on the myexpresscheckout page. Shout sometimes doesn't send shipping emails right away (and sometimes not at all).

IIRC, your code for your coupons should have been in your order confirmation email.
