The Where Is It Redeemable Thread (MA, iTunes, Vudu?) - US

Is there a thread that shows you should redeem through here (TargetTicket/CinemaNow/VUDU/Etc.) and you get more features if you do? I keep redeeming through VUDU then find out if I would of redeemed through another I would of got bonus features. I believe VUDU has something worked out with SONY now so I should redeem those on VUDU, but is there anything that has where it's better to redeem at? Or do most just use VUDU/Flixster?

On Vudu, some Sony titles will give you access to "extras+". However, you don't have to redeem the title on Vudu to get access to those features. As long as the title transfers to Vudu you'll be able to view the extras.

Off the top of my head, I recall that redeeming Ted and Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters through their studio sites was the only way to get unrated versions. And redeeming Smaug through CinemaNow granted access to additional UV special features. I think there might have also been a way to get special features with Gravity.

Thanks - so it doesn't look as widespread as I would think certain promoters would try and leverage you using their site to redeem. Good to know and I only brought it up because literally 1 minute after redeeming the new Hobbit I saw the thread on redeeming in CinemaNow. Was scared to redeem anything thinking I would miss out on the features. Thanks again.

So I want to buy just the DVD (not blu ray) of Frozen, Thor 2, and Ride ALong but I don't know if the come with a code that I can redeem on Vudu. I looked on amazon and search each movie but it doesn't say anything about a code. Does anyone know if they come with one and its just not clearly advertised somewhere?

It would be much appreciated if someone could shed some light on this.

I saw them at Target on Saturday, the back said Digital HD with UV only. such a shame i was going to re buy them if they had iTunes. I didn't see the X-Men Experience Collection. so it could be different.

If you email Paramount about this they give you an iTunes code for Anchorman 1 saying the code was inadvertently left out. I did it right away and got a code a week later, but now people are getting it the next day or sooner.

Also saw the first 3 Twilight movies that had 2014 in the fine print and they had UV only.

Also you should put Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy as UV and iTunes (email paramount for code) so people know they can get an iTunes code for it. because Paramount claim it was accidentally left out

also how old do you want codes. Like The Dark Knight old? that was iTunes with disc, its expired, but WB extended it to 2017 and give you a new code if you provide info on your purchase. if you want that? otherwise ill just look into newer titles since UV started

The Twilight movies I speak of are Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse. I didnt hear anything about them being re released or anything, but saw them at Target. Looked at the back and saw Digital HD with UV. then the fine print said "2014 layout" and such. but cant find anything about it online anywhere

and i don't know how to do it but i think it would be helpful if you could link to the release the code came from through the title. like how there are now two X-Men First Class releases

Thank you for your contributions I will update the op and I totally agree with you on creating a link to the specific release of that title since there's going to be re-releases all the time and they may have different redemption options. I will add links to every new title added when updating the op and I will also eventually go back and add links to all the titles that I previously added.
