Got this yesterday for my birthday - a great release from Legacy. Hope they don't take too long to release some more vintage Joel.

Looks like you have to buy the deluxe version to get all of the bonus features. Doesn't matter to me because I was going to get it anyway but...fyi.

The only downside to this set is the CD sleeves are way too tight. Wish they had released this like the Piano man Legacy release (plastic CD holders not just a crappy card sleeve)

Otherwise a phenomenal set - hope Legacy doesn't take too long to announce their next release.

Was the Yankee Stadium concert shot on film? The Storm Front one?

No idea - but i'll take anything Legacy want to put out on CD/Blu.

I like the idea of getting a documentary to cover the time period too, hope that trend continues.

Hope they consider the Nassau concert from 1982 next - some footage came out on Youtube sometime back (Untill the night) and it was fantastic.

Just received my (used) deluxe set today. I previewed the first 15 minutes and it looks fantastic. The stereo sound is good so far also - LPCM 48K 24b - but I'm surprised (because I hadn't checked of course) that a 5.1 track was not done. Anyway I am very happy so far with the concert. BTW the video bit rate is very high - 20 - 40Mbits.
Now ripping the CDs to FLAC................

This is $7 new shipped FBA currently from Great Price Media and SourceMedia. I'd recommend Great Price Media over SourceMedia as I've read multiple reports over the years about the later resealing used movies to sell as new.
