What I read is that found in the bin but it rung up $12.96 so he had it price adjusted to $7.88.

See, that makes a difference. Lots of people throw movies into the $7.88 bin, so if you find any movies in there scanning at more than $7.88, actually getting them for $7.88 is YMMV. People who toss random movies into the dump bins seriously need punched in the face!

I'm jealous of all your finds. The 7.88 bins I've checked are always pretty crappy

That's what I said. They had them rung up for $7.88. Of course, the examples listed were not a matter of someone throwing them in the bin since the cashier mentioned that they were in the bin and should be $7.88. Either way, based on the sticker date on those and the ones I've found, it seems likely that they will EVENTUALLY be moved to the $7.88 bin, just not as soon as some stores have done.

Well whats important is the Cashier was willing to price adjust.
The Cashier should just make the decision to price adjust and not put up a fuss or get a Supervisor involved.
Unfortunately that has happened especially when the Cashier is new or inexperienced.
How they got there shouldn't be a problem for a Customer. But the reality is not everything rings up at $7.88.

If one makes a fuss tell them its the advertised price and to get a Manager involved.

I'd like to know this too. Anyone?

I also have the same question for the Black Hawk Down/Tears of the Sun double feature, as the slip says it's only for Tears of the Sun. Can someone confirm this?

If anyone spots Running Scared in the southeast/Milwaukee area of Wisconsin please let me know. So far, I've grabbed Big, Perks of Being a Wallflower, Zorro Double Feature, Frankenstein/Dracula double feature, Dazed and Confused, Boiler Room, and Knowing/Push.

I redeemed through Vudu, and it gave me both.

Running Scared really seems to be a hot title. There were 2 in the entire bin I went to today, and 3 people searching for it. I haven't seen it in any other bins in my area - and there didn't seem to be any other titles in there that were so scarce.

To be honest, most people I talk to don't even know this movie exists - I had no clue it would be so popular until I tried to find it myself.

You actually can't even redeem just Knowing. When you search for it on Vudu's page, it shows up as "Knowing/Push - double feature."

Since I'm a cashier at Walmart,I will weigh in on this. We can do a price override if the price difference is minimal, but if you're talking about more than a couple of dollars we have to get a CSM to come and authorize a price adjustment. And that's only after they've price checked the item. Blaming cashiers for pricing is common, but it makes our job that much more difficult when you get a customer who is angry at what an item rings up as and wants to blame you,the cashier. I'm a huge bin shopper and I know what's there and what isn't. But I'm probably one of the few who does.

When I Redeemed the double feature for "A League Of Their Own" and "The Natural," Sony also gave me the "Zorro/Mask Of Zorro" double feature!

I wish I'd known that. I sold the UV code for Knowing on here the other day thinking it was just for that movie.

CONFIRMED and all in HDX As you enter the code you'll see "A League of their own and 3 others" When asked what provider to use, I chose Sony Pictures but I don't know if this makes a difference or not.

Since it's ultraviolet, it still ends up in vudu. You have to redeem through sony anyway.

Thanks DBH!
You're looking for "Running Scared," right? Where in Michigan are you? If you're in the Detroit area, I saw a copy in the brand new Walmart around 11 or 12 Mile and Van Dyke.

On a different note, I found two new titles in the bin there today that were marked JUN 14 BLU BIN. "Sleepy Hollow" and "Braveheart." Those were the only two I could find that said June so far.

with the Zorro double feature, are people redeeming it through the sonypictures.com website or VUDU to get The Natural and A League of their own also?
