Attack on Titan, Birdy the Mighty: Decode, Gunslinger Girl, Jin-Roh, and Solty Rei all have scenes that bring me to tears every time I watch them...as does Usagi Drop; but they are tears of joy not sadness, such a great short series.

Lol, I've gotten teary at movies/anime but it is not often that I literally cry at things.

Do you guys think if I call RS they can put a hold on my card to prevent my order from shipping. I only ask because I know they ship early sometimes and the VA doesn't pay me till June 1. The street date for this movie is June 3rd I believe but I don't want to be hit with a overdraft fee.

Yes they just put one of my orders on hold for me last Monday. They said they can do it for up to two weeks. I forgot about a bill and was a little short to cover my order. They said as long as its not in the shipping status they can.

Titan digibook did not make it in today. So sadly no pictures for the holiday weekend. :-(

correct me if im wrong. but there are only two versions of AOT right? the digibook LE, and the regular combo pack?

weird question right... I was just on Walmart.com and they have a DVD only AOT listed for 16.96. But I cant find any info anywhere about a dvd only release. they have the LE digibook listed as a blu ray, but this one is just says DVD.

I think they have messed up and the regular blu/dvd combo pack is on sale for 16.96

There should be three editions: BD/DVD Standard combo pack with slip; BD/DVD LE Combo Pack with Digibook and chipboard box; same as the LE, but with a set of pins and the Key to Erin's house necklace exclusively only at the Funimation shop.

If there is a DVD only version, I never heard of it until now, and if it's standard BD/DVD combo as a price error, I might buy one extra to gift to a friend.

As it stands, I have no use for the pins or necklace, so I'm going with the LE I got locked at $48.99 at Amazon.

Yes, it's a price botch I'm going to take advantage of, too.

Had some issues on Wal-Mart's site trying to check out. First they claimed I already had an account with the email address I used when I tried to sign up for one. But when I requested a password reset email I didn't get it. Then I got an actual general site error when I tried to set up a new account under a different email. Then I was told my zip code or city were invalid when I was doing address stuff -- when I entered my zip code the site auto-set the city for me, so how can it be invalid?

Anyway, haven't seen AoT but the way people are making a fuss about it I can't pass this error up. Unless it really is DVD-only in which case I'll sell it unopened.

AoT is going to be a blind buy for me too.
I'd be curious to hear what you, or anyone else for that matter, actually get from WM. If it turns out to be a BD, that's definitely a nice deal.

This is actually my first time blind buying a blu-ray. Although I guess there's still time to watch the series before it ships.

I emailed funi and asked if there was a dvd only edition available anywhere. With the holiday weekend probably wont get a reply till tues. I have a good feeling about this though, and if its not the blu combo..ill just return it to walmart.

I'm pretty sure its the bd/DVD combo. I've never seen funi sell a series in a store in a packaging that wasn't previously announced

But once again -- I thought Funimation had not planned a DVD-only release to start with. The whole idea of these dumb combo packs being stores only want to stock one SKU.
