I wish studios would care more about packaging like how they used to do with the dvd releases, it was rare to release a tv show in a regular dvd case

Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Dexter, Orphan Black, Sherlock, Bates Motel, Vikings (without the slip) and now Orange is the New Black all have regular cases

Well, obviously, with BDs you have more space on the disc...which means less discs. Perhaps that's why dvd tv seasons(more discs) would use alternative forms of packaging?
Either way, I agree...as I love digipak for tv season on home video. Heck for anything. Plastic amaray cases can be boring, at least, to me.

I concur. Digipaks are way cool (storage space is starting to be an issue for me now though).

PS. Anyone out there with a Region B player, please, please, please could you chuck it in and find out if it works for Region B… While I can play Region A, I would prefer it to play on B (for playability options on all my BR capable players i.e.. PS3, PS4).

Sorry, but it wouldn't play on region B. Just got the wrong region screen.

Thank you (and thanks to Scott 1980 for his Region Code post). Will now go and order the UK release. Yeah!

Australia

Got my copy from the UK!

Still can't believe Australia did not get a BD release of OITNB (DVD only). Appears to be going off with popularity after the release of S2 on Netflix in the US. It was a big mistake on the part of the Aussie distributors. I am positive that they might just retroactively release S1 on BD as time goes on (like Sony did with Breaking Bad).

Although, I thought that Entertainment One would eventually re-release The Walking Dead S1 without the 40 seconds of censorship. Absolutely wrong about that one (unless you live in Germany).
