Since Target has changed recently. Do they make you return the item and re-buy it even if it falls within the 7 day price adjust window? Im assuming they wouldn't but I'm not exactly sure, so I'm curious now.

I was told the same thing, but I was still able to get my metalpaks. My local target probably just won't set the rest out until Tuesday, so whatevs.

I got X1 and Robocop, they are fantastic, I love them, spines be damned. I display mine facing forward so I don't care about spines as much. They feel wonderful and the quality EASILY rivals steelbooks. Il go back next Sunday to price adjust and pick up some more since I'm so impressed.

Yes, they can be scratched, but from my experience no easier then steelbooks with the same paintwork. So nothing to worry about if you actually take care of your collection.

Thats what I am hoping, they will still do but a number of us opened these up before that 8 dollar sale became known of.

So it will be a bit trickier getting them to return/rebuy when its been opened.
But I plan on going on the angle of well I placed the order for instore pickup on the 1st but the notification i got said they were ready and I had to pick them up before then, so can you please go ahead and honor the adjustment.

Those who bought them today (Sunday) shouldn't have a problem next Sunday when they go down to $8 right? It falls within the 7 day pride adjustment, the last day actually. So I shouldn't think they would tell me to return them and rebuy them since they are already open and I don't plan to take them to the store.

Yeah you should be fine, I was actually going to rebuy the ones i bought last week, and return them on my instore pickup reciept, so i could just go in next sunday to get the price matches that way. but I had a hard enough time to day picking up the 2 i didnt get last week, lol

but yeah you should be fine.

I am really hoping the angle i am going to go with will work since technically its not my fault they prepared them early and then messaged me i had to pick them up by last tuesday

I found Alien at a store near me but it was badly dented so I didn't get it. They didn't have Aliens and I haven't found another copy of Alien. I'll just go back this week sometime to get both plus planet of the apes, the only other one i didn't get today.

I live in West Hollywood and at 8am they did not have them out and did not have any clue what I was asking about. So I tried Burbank and they just finished putting them out. I bought the X-Men films and Apes and went home for a while, then decided I needed the rest so I went back and bought the remaining ones. Bought all 12. Absolutely no sales resistance!

Well I hope the stores got more than the one little box the guy got from the back. If some stores put them out early, and today, I don't see how they will last for the sale next week.

Went to 2 targets, one didn't get them in, and the other had absolutely none, they were definitely all there, price tags all said metal pak, interestingly enough, all were marked 10 except first class was 8 and origins was 7.50, would've been amazing I would have gotten all of them.

The ad for next week does say "Quantities Limited. No rain checks" thats one of the reasons why a lot of us are picking them up today. I didn't want to take any chances. Would rather get them today and price adjust next week than be on the verge of getting sold out by next Sunday.

For 8 bucks you can't complain really. But its still a bit irritating having them get scratched.

here ya go. they're blu-ray sized and they fit steelbooks and metalpak/futurepaks perfectly. they're a nice thickness, have a resealable flap and will protect all your goodies. all of my steelbooks/viva metal boxes/metalpaks/futurepaks are in these.

went to two targets today... neither had them out on shelves...

one said they were in the back & they'd be out tomorrow morning (??)...

the other said they didn't have them in yet and knew nothing about them...

picked up all the x-men metalpaks today, they all seem to have some minor paint chips here and there which i find annoying considering these things are brand new and i literally watched the guy open the case they were in.

My Target did not have them out and did not know about them, but pulled them out when I showed them the DCPI number on my phone. I got Alien, Aliens, and Prometheus. The guy who pulled them out of the back said he was going to put an Alien and Aliens aside for himself.

well, after driving to 3 targets in my area, i was able to find Aliens (part 2) in store for $10
no luck on the first Alien movie...

which target in Miami did you go to?

i went to Pines Blvd and Hialeah and no luck with Alien (part 1)
