Maybe so but the Falcon was already considered a "hunk of junk" and a "bucket of bolts" in the original trilogy as quoted by both Luke and Leia. I see 2 scenarios where the Falcon could be in this movie and it make sense...

1.) Despite it no longer functioning, Han continues to hold onto the ship because of sentimentality.

2.) The Falcon put on display at a museum or at the new Jedi temple to serve as an important historical artifact in helping to take down the Empire.

Those really are the only 2 scenarios that make sense. I don't want to see Han skipping through the galaxy in the Falcon. It just wouldn't seem likely.

It could be like BSG. Its an outdated model that is already, or is going to be, part of a museum, but then they end up needing to fire it up to escape or something

Man, you guys are crazy. The Millennium Falcon is as much a character in the original trilogy as Han, Luke, and Leia. It needs to be in the sequel trilogy. It would be like having a Star Trek film without the Enterprise. Now let's all hope the Falcon doesn't look like an Apple store inside 30 years later.

As far as the "X-Wing" in the pictures, the nose of the ship looks too short. It could be a Z-95 Headhunter, but that ship pre-dates the X-Wing.

Yeah, there are always several villains, both major and minor. And another thing to consider is there's always that one supporting villain that pops up, often only appearing and dying in that one film:

TPM - Darth Maul
AOTC - Jango Fett
ROTS - General Grievous
ANH - Grand Moff Tarkin
TESB - Boba Fett
ROTJ - Jabba the Hutt

Boba and Jabba (and Tarkin I guess, minor as it was) ended up appearing in more movies, but these are the ones where they play that kind of role. Let's say Max von Sydow and Adam Driver are the Palpatine and Vader type characters of this film, it'd be fully possible for Gwendoline Christie to be the Tarkin/Boba, providing a threat throughout and possibly being killed at the end, while Max and Adam live to see Episode VIII.

Besides, though its ridiculous, even using earth reasoning, lets say the ship is 60 years old now. I still see cars from 1950s on the road sometimes.
You make some good points. And while there were few of the PT vehicles showing up in the OT, they are still there. The Tantive IV appears in ROTS and then returns in ANH almost 20 years later, Boba still uses the Slave I 25 years after AOTC, the Naboo starfighters from TPM return briefly in the victory celebration at the end of ROTJ meaning they've been in use for over 36 years, etc. I think it's realistic (if you want to call it that) that some vehicles would last longer than others, depending on model and purpose, the budget or emotional attachment of the owner(s), even cultures and their views on technology, etc.

I do understand and share camper's feelings as well. It'd make sense to see some new vehicles, it'd be consistent with what's been established. I hope and expect to see a mix of new and old.

I fully expect a mix of new and old. I dont think we will see nearly as many blatant pandering callbacks in the new films as the prequels had.

I hope not, but considering how overboard JJ Abrams went with the callbacks in Star Trek Into Darkness I'm not optimistic.

But at the same time, there weren't that many in 'Star Wars' or 'Mission: Impossible III', it completely depends on the script that's written. Parts of the callbacks in 'Into Darkness' worked, parts felt a bit pandering, but the film was still very good overall. He loves 'Star Wars' though, and he and Kasdan working together gives me hope that it'll be part nostalgia but completely new at the same time. Abrams is a huge 'Star Wars' fan, and there's no one else I could see doing the start of the new trilogy on the right foot than him.

The difference being those were characters in the same time period and the same places as in previous movies, so they are going to have many of the same encounters and occurrences.

And as many as Abrams did use, it wasnt as bad as the prequels.

At least we're getting a physical one there, so it shouldn't look as bad as when Han and Lando walked past a really badly integrated matte painting in ROTJ.

Really don't know why,but i am not feeling the least bit excited for this movie,i mean i will see it of course but the excitement is just not there for me and i am an HUGE (Original Trilogy) Star Wars fan. Anyone else feel this way? maybe because expectations were destroyed with the last trilogy,i don't know,i was really pumped about The Phantom Menace years before it came out.I feel nothing about this project, even with the original cast returning, just to old to make me believe.I do not have high expectations for this film, maybe than at least i will not be disappointed i guess.I mean what's the first thing people tell you when there here J.J Abrams, they say LOST because that is what he is know for,all of his movies he has made are forgettable,i have a feeling this will be the same course.
