Default Speakers That Can Be Placed Close to Back Wall

I have a system set up in a medium sized room where space is very limited. I currently use a set of Klipsch RB-5 II for left and right mains and a RB-5 II as a center. The mains are only about 10-12 inches from the back wall. The center placement is also less than ideal. I am definitely getting some bass reinforcement from having the rear ports so close to the wall. This isn't too bad for movies, but I think music really suffers. I use an Onkyo 809 for movies and a restored Magnavox 8802 tube amp for music. The tube amp needs efficient speakers as it puts out probably 6-7 watts. I enjoy the Klipsch sound, but am open to other brands. Would front ported Klipsch speakers respond better? Which speakers would be good options for placement closer to the wall? Thanks!
