I wish Nightbreed and Lord of Illusions would be added so I could order Pumpkinhead and something else with it at the same time to help on shipping. How much longer should it be before that happens?

Is Pumpkinhead the only confirmed title for September so far? I imagine we might see Lord of Illusions then as well; not sure they'd drop Nightbreed the same month (in fact I have a nagging suspicion that title might end up being delayed). I suppose there's the Halloween set as well.

They usually add the entire month's pre-orders at the same time. So if the September pre-orders were added in early June, the October releases should be added in early July. And so on and so forth.

September has:
The Battery
Halloween Collection
Pumpkinhead

October has:
Pumpkinhead 2

In the KillerPOV podcast last week it was stated by Cliff that they only have made deals for the 3 Halloween films and then 1 other film for an upcoming box set. No more, at least not for the forseeable future.

It's true that only one other Miramax title was specifically hinted at in the Killer POV podcast from last week...

Kevin Kasha put myself and Bob Solowski together and that was it.
...but the status of the rest of the Miramax titles was never specifically addressed in the podcast as far as I can recall. The conversation after this statement veered back into discussion of the Halloween box set.

I don't know what it is, but Barnes and Noble no longer has Leviathan, Motel Hell, Legend of Hell House and Without Warning. I had them preordered, but for me it says, BN.com will not carry it or something like that. If you search for them, they're not there anymore. My preorder is there, but if they won't carry it them idk. What a waste. And family video isn't taking preorders either for any of them, let alone Final Terror and Deadly Eyes.

Anyone know what is wrong? Amazon is just asking so much.

That sucks. I have been impatiently waiting for Family Video to list pre-orders for Scream Factory releases and the new Severin Films releases too. I really want to lock down The Final Terror in particular.

I just received a 20% off coupon in my email so I decided to check BN.com for Sleepaway Camp. When I checked I see something I have never seen on the site, Not available to order, available in stores. I checked the Los Angeles stores. Not In Stock anywhere. WTF?

Wow, they aren't even available on blowitouttahere anymore. That is where I would always go to buy them at a cheaper price until I started buying all collectors editions directly from SF to get the limited posters. They don't even have any of the old ones listed anymore, or at least none that I've searched for to test it. Not Halloween III, They Live, The Howling, none of them. It goes without saying that they have removed all of the preorders as well. This is very, very weird.

I still can't believe they chose to release The Shadow over stuff like Demon Knight, The Serpent and the Rainbow, The People Under the Stairs, Psycho IV, or Village of the Damned.

Yeah, at the very least, you'd think that Shout would jump at the chance to release Craven's Universal titles (Serpent and the Rainbow, Shocker, People Under the Stairs). Not to mention Demon Knight and Bordello of Blood, which seems like an obvious double feature blu-ray waiting to happen.

I guess if they agree to another deal, we can expect those titles and more (Ghost Story, Sentinel '77, etc).

B&N used to be the only stores around here that consistently carried SF titles. I did a check when the 40% sale started, and the stores around here are out of stock of just about everything SF and every other small studio.

And chose to re-release Darkman with the same crappy transfer Universal used.

I pre-ordered "Without Warning" from blowitouttahere and haven't gotten a cancellation notice or anything. I emailed them this morning to ask if they are still honoring the pre-order since the listing has disappeared from their site. Hopefully I'll have some good news to report back when they respond.

Sometimes its not a question of choice, its a question of what's offered to them and what fits in their budget - they may have wanted other titles but the Universal may have asked too much or werent offered to SF
