I love my DVD boxset so may wait till this goes on sale before buying (even though it may be my favourite TV series)

If however there is a limited edition set akin to the Breaking Bad Barrel or The Walking Dead season sets, that would be a day one pre-order for sure!

Hopefully seasons 2-5 look as good as the season 6 releases (in '06 & '07), and aren't like the season 1 (released in '09) with it's edge enhancement etc.

I doubt they will go back an fix season one though, which is a shame.

The pre-order probably went down for the same reason WB pre-orders are down on Amazon.com right now. Amazon wants more money from sales of WB product and are trying to convince them to renegotiate with them by not allowing sales for any of their products right now. (HBO products are distributed by HBO even though it's a sub-division).

Yet all other WB pre-orders are up in the UK

I think it went down on Base.com as well. So I guess either the pre-orders have all sold out or it was put up too early and needs more info from HBO/WB. Can't see us getting this before the US either way.

Still up for preorder on play and base. Release date is still 3 months away, so plenty of time for it to go back up on Amazon and Zavvi.

Have seen that quoted for the US release. However UK retailers seem to have been supplied with the same picture of the green and black DVD box but with a photoshopped it looks like blue BD stripe around the top.

Yeah tob, I have it on order at the minute but the way September is I may have to wait until October to pick it up. A lot of releases to pick up.
