Not surprising since the new one is due this year. I'll wait for it to drop a little bit.

I guess Phantasm is the only other (major) horror franchise left to get a series release.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre neither has a complete series box nor is the full series on BD.

Never been a huge fan of the Leprechaun series, but I do love Leprechaun 3.

I'll definitely pick this up if the price is right.

Wow, been waiting for just the first one, but a boxset is even better!! Shocked it's so cheap though, other boxsets for horror films have been $50 and up, unless they went on sale (Chucky). Will totally be picking this up!

Yeah, I'd prefer something like Waxwork or Chopping Mall.

But like it or not, the Leprechaun series is much more popular and well known. I do think it's more so for the premise than the actual films themselves though.

I wonder when's the release date? Also, I hope Lionsgate will release the other Amityville sequels on blu ray.

Only Part 2 needs a Blu release. The rest were either singles or combined onto multi-movie features.

I assume you mean the newer sequels? The original Trilogy has already been released by Shout/Scream Factory, as has the remake.

Chopping Mall is coming later this year or early next year.

Chopping Mall

If Lionsgate is getting back into releasing catalog horror, then I would expect waxwork shouldn't be too far behind. Lionsgate has a solid collection of 80's horror... I could easily see several getting the budget Blu Ray treatment.

I WANT ME GOLD!!!

Man, I used to love watching the films when they aired on Syfy during St Patrick's Day every year.

This year they got cheap and only aired Leprechaun's Revenge/Red Clover over and over.

I can't imagine the price being any better than this. If this is a complete series set, this is a steal. $35 for 6 Films is pretty crazy, even if they are older catalog films.

3/4/5/6 were on the Echo Bridge multi-film set, but 2 and 7 weren't. Those were the "couple" I was talking about. 1 and 8 were released solo, as was the remake.

At this point, most people have assumed that the director was incorrect. Wouldn't be the first time he was wrong about his own films being re-released. Lionsgate even has said they're not working on it, I believe.

I don't think Lionsgate is getting back into catalog horror titles, this is fluke. Its coming to cash in on the new film, Leprechaun: Origins.

I stand corrected, thanks for setting the record straight, I lose track of the direct to video films. I knew about part 2 but I assumed Genesis was the end of the series and didn't realize there was a different part 7.
