The Color Purple recently dropped into my UV collection in SD. I suspect it is related to the '50 best of WB' code I redeemed some time ago that was supposed to include this title but never did...

Mine always included it and it is HD. I've noticed recently UVVU is telling me everything from flixster is SD even when Vudu/Targetticket, etc say otherwise. If you are talking about Vudu then it is because Vudu only has it available in SD right now. If you redeemed it through Vudu then it would add to your account as SD. That's one of the problems with redeeming UV codes. If you redeem it somewhere that only has SD that is what adds it to your account as.

Weird I always thought I had it. I just checked my vudu account and was the 1st movie.

The Color purple isn't even for sale on vudu, or Disc to Digital. It's coming up for sale and rent on July 1st, but only in SD.

Oddly enough I just had 'Bean' and 'Rango' show up in my account. Both HDX. Neither were movies I purchased or obtained in the past.

Bean and Rango are both available from VUDU's HDX promotion when you sign up, IIRC.

Ahh, I just had family recently sign up with the "Share my Movies" feature of Vudu, I wonder if they added them and it put it on my account?
