any more than Jar-Jar or any of the other wonderful ideas Lucas put in Episdoes 1-3? we may not like them but I don't think Disney or JJ has the guts to totally ignore them or somehow erase them so things like these Sith Inquisitors could show up as they fit with the new Star Wars.

With the younglings, it would make sense that the troopers did kill some as I don't see that few in that one seen being all of them. But it is entirely possible that Anakin just had them surround the building to make sure no one escaped while he took care of business. That is what I always thought as it just seems to be the kind of thing the Emperor would get him to do - hard to do good things when you have the guilt of killing all those kids. That would explain too why they killed the one in the Organa scene - he escaped to they did their job. Or maybe Anaking just used the jedi mindtrick and had the all look into their lightsabers for a surprise

Remember the scene where Bail Organa lands and troopers kill one right in front of him (as aiman04 mentioned).
Nope I try to forget as much of the prequels as possible lol, but now that you mention the scene yes i remember them killing the one lone youngling

[Show spoiler]Sith Inquisitors. They will also be featured in the Star Wars Rebels series. They're like Grievous, no Force ability but have been trained in the Jedi fighting art and one of them has connection to the original characters. And of course they have their Sith boss. Empire still exists, no new republic.

Also, looks like Harrison Ford's injury is quite serious, he won't be able to resume work for 8 weeks.

Hmm that sounds interesting.

If this turns out to be true than i'm betting that Max Von Sydow's character is probably the boss of the Sith Inquisitors and the new leader of the Empire.

It would make sense.

The rumor you are all referring to has been refuted. It's hard to keep track of them all, I will admit. I got to starwars7news.com daily to keep up.

When was it confirmed that the rumour is false?

I'm not sure how you confirm a rumor is false outside of LFL doing so, which of course they haven't, but it has been strongly refuted by The Force within the rumor community.

UPDATE!

According to TheForce this report is 100% inaccurate. They don't quote any sources but I believe they're right. I was one of the first persons to say that these were probably the most plausible rumors we've heard so far but for a similar reasons as stated below I now know that they are indeed 100% inaccurate.
Anyway, it's all conjecture at this point from sources that won't ever be revealed. It's all part of the fun of biding our time until December 2015. I just thought I'd let everyone know that this particular rumor is being shot down.

Here is a little something that hasn't... yet.

http://www.theforce.net/story/movie/..._In_158502.asp

[Show spoiler]There is a "Forest Fortress" set. It looks ruined and features a large sandstone-colored door. The set resembles Yavin IV more than Endor.
There are no snow-planet sets at Pinewood. False reports about Hoth appearing in the movie may have come from the Everest snowscape set at Pinewood.
The "Imperial stage," which is "huge," features a full-size TIE fighter prop and greenscreens on two sides.
There is also a Star Destroyer bridge set, recognizable based on its "distincive triangular windows.

Finally, a good article from Latino Review breaking all the recent rumors down:

That only goes to show there can be multiple Sith, and the "rule of two" is more procedural or ceremonial in basis. But according to the expanded universe, Sidious really only believed in the "Rule of One", with no Sith replacing him because he figured out how to live forever.

The Rule of Two was essentially the top of the chain, but doesn't imply there weren't Dark Jedi equally powerful, or at least almost as powerful, as Vader or Sidious. It just meant that there was always a leader, and always an apprentice (chosen from the best of the ranks) who would be the defacto Sith to take the lead of the remaining Sith lords and acolytes.

So there is no reason not to have an 'army' of powerful force using Sith (as another name for Dark Jedi) swinging light sabers around with skill and precision against an army of equally skilled Jedi.

Personally, I would love to see something like that. Closest we got was the group of Jedi deflecting robot lasers in the arena.

And also, I would LOVE to see Ian McDiarmid return as Palpatine...kinda like Yoda/Anakin/Obi-Wan (and presumably Qui Jon) learned to 'force ghost' themselves, Palpatine was able to transfer his essence into a clone body upon his death.

you can write that one off though - wasn't that Lucas's son? the only actor he can get who doesn't hate his directing approach

Well, it's fair to say that regardless of whether it's true or not, any bit of "leaked" information is going to be shot down as being inaccurate. What does anyone expect the Abrams camp to come out and say?

"Oh, hehehehe!! Golly gee willickers! You guessed it! Might as well come completely clean with the entire plot of the movie."

Obviously they're going to deny anything at this point whether it's true or not.

Harrison Ford to return to U.S. for six months of rehab

http://www.express.co.uk/news/showbi...f-rehab-report

The Indiana Jones actor was first thought to have fractured his ankle during filming in England earlier this month (Jun14), when his foot was crushed by the door of a spacecraft prop.
However, his injury turned out to be a broken leg, with reports suggesting he would be out of action for up to eight weeks. It has now emerged that he will not be able to return to film Star Wars: Episode VII for six months as he needs rehab treatment for his left limb, which was fixed with a number of metal plates during surgery this week (beg16Jun14).
A source tells The Sun newspaper, "Shooting is continuing, but Harrison won't be back for months... the film company is looking into extending filming well into the second half of this year to allow Ford time to get back on his feet."
Ford is still receiving treatment at a hospital in England but will fly back to Los Angeles with his actress wife Calista Flockhart to work with a physiotherapist, according to editors at the publication.

Wow, 6 months? Is this true? If it is it would surely affect the production schedules.

I see no sources listed in that article so I'm waiting for an official statement.

But if that did turn out to be true then it would be horrible, not only for Ford but for the entire slate of films possibly getting delayed.

It could be good news - maybe Mark and Carrie can still slim down a bit more during those 6 months.

They can easily rearrange shooting schedules to do his scenes later. They can also film any scenes where he is sitting, like in the falcon or whatever, and closeup shots.
the majority of the 1.5 year lead time is for postproduction. They can easily film his stuff later and still make the date. 6 months from now is still a year ahead of release, and thats when a lot of films just start filming.

It's The Sun, so take it with a grain (or maybe a spoonful) of salt. This is the paper that once ran a story claiming scientists had proved straight people couldn't get AIDS.
