Nice, just saw Squirm was added. Was so close to grabbing the Arrow release earlier this year.

Gonna shoot for The Burning! Thank you, all!

Though you know what film I've really had a hankering for recently (and I'm gonna break down and watch my DVD) is 1979's 'Salem's Lot. I so love that movie. And it would fit the Scream Factory label quite well. Hopefully an option in the future...

Unfortunately not - it's with Warner.

How rare are the slipcovers that come with Scream's releases? I have a few Scream titles, but Sleepaway Camp, which just arrived, is the first release I've received that has a slipcover.

Almost all of the Scream titles I have came with slips. (Luckily, I was able to trade with forum members to get slips for the few that didn't). I think that Scream titles are less likely to come with slips the farther away from release date that you buy them. (I.e., slips for the 2012 and early 2103 releases are harder to come by).

I don't understand all of the complaints about Cat People. I thought it looked fine. It was certainly better than any other version of it that I've seen. (Yes, I could see that DNR had been applied, I just don't think it was as awful-looking as others did.)

Pictures when you're done? I'm gonna have 3/4 sets and am curious.

There's 2 different types... A paint on type and a spray paint style aerosol. I have the spray style in semi gloss. On my test coaster I applied 8 light coats to both sides and it's only vaguely noticeable under certain lighting and close inspection. I wanted to protect the coaster but not obscure the art. Because of that while I'm happy to provide pictures, there really isn't any noticeable difference unless closely inspected. Had I gone with a thicker matte finish it would have provided a more noticeable protective layer, but slightly obscured the art itself. Basically I just wanted to ensure the coasters can hold up to repeated useage, but still maintain there overall look.

I bought Day of the Dead, Cat People, and Darkman. From looking around the net it seems there's way less controversy about Cat People than the other two. With movies like Day of the Dead, I care as much about the extras as the movie itself, so a new 90 minute documentary pretty much means that I will get my money's worth even if I end up thinking my old divimax DVD looks better than this new reddish color scheme. And Darkman I've only ever watched on TBS/USA back in the day when they used to run it all the time, so unless it's a REALLY pixelated mess it's not going to disappoint me :P

21676_large.jpg This series needs a Blu-ray release. Shout did a good job on the release now Scream Factory needs to do a Collector's Edition.. That would be cool..

I know, I'm going though hundreds of pages looking for requests to add the list, man did the Scream thread ever have so many deviations , I have the setup of displaying 40 posts a page, and i'm currently at page 413 out of 549 (that's to the last unread forum page of this thread, the total would be 693, but i'm on top of pages 550-693, thats when I joined ) I found a lot of things I wanted to comment on, but those comments I wanted to comment on the most because of how people always complain to me, of titles I had in the List that Shout and other Companies have put out. anyway back to Page 413

I'd love Swamp Thing: The Series on blu-ray.

They've started releasing "retro" TV on blu-ray, since Pee Wee's Playhouse is coming this year. I'm not holding my breath though, but it'd be cool.

I think Scream's policy on that is "Do not bring your TV-sourced evil here."

(And I only know that from MST3K references, I don't think anybody actually watched USA Network back then, except for a campy Silk Stalkings following.)

I'd get massacred (literally) for saying this but, 5 and 8 are my favorites.
No lie.
