I agree. They look great to me. I have a both steelbooks and metalpaks in my collection and they are beautiful in their own right.

The spine, obviously took some getting used to...but after you get a few of them lined up they look pretty sharp, IMO. Plus most, if not all, of the US releases have been very low cost. Keep 'em coming, I say!

The release date is September 9th, 2099. I'm gonna be dead by then. Hahahahaha!

Heck I can't deny it, if they have the Futurepak and BB has a Steelbook I'll buy both. Same with a digibook although I'm seeing those less and less these days.

They're not going to release competing metal cases on Release Day. If past history is any indication, the other Exclusives will be Bonus Content (on disc or download), some sort of crazy plastic contraption (like Pacific Rim), and maybe a Godzilla toy.

y wouldn't they?
they did for fast six.
BBY had an exclusive Steelbook, the rest had the original steelbook available.

That was still one Exclusive, not competing metal Exclusives.

Well, it looks like I'll be buying a FuturePak/MetalPak. I can look past the ugly spine for Godzilla.

They don't bother me. I have all my Metalpaks together, so the spines don't stand out to me. Not at Steelbooks are that great, so it's nice to have something else, while is personally preferred the Viva Metal Box, these will do.

Yeah that's why I would take a competing digibook like the Man of Steel steelbook/digibook releases.

I guess they're doing what Universal did with FF6.

But wait, there's more, this one is really cool but we can't say anything about it right now. This one will top the Batman Arkham Origins Futurepak easily.
