Default Do You Sell Your Used Blu-rays/DVDs?

Or do you keep all even on movies you ended up not liking(esp on blind buys), or not watching a lot?

I prefer to trade here. Also, there's a used cd/dvd store that will give me a good price on some, so I use them often.

I am on a limited budget, so I go through my collection every now and then and trim the fat. If I can sell 20 movies I'm not watching so I can afford 5 I will watch, why not? For me it's about quality, not quantity.

Definitely. If I don't watch it, why not? A selection is nice to have, but if it's something I know I'll never choose from that selection, what's the point in having it in there?

The ones I know I probably won't watch again: trade if possible, if not I'll sell or give them away. I usually won't watch a series a second time so I've given a lot of those out, some I get back, some I don't

I sell for space reasons. I've limited myself to one large rack to hold all my Blu-rays because having another rack wouldn't look good in my current setup, so I start selling Blu-rays when the rack gets full. I sold about 100 Blu-rays about 6 months ago, and I'll probably be looking to sell quite a few in the not too distant future as the rack is getting full and there will be quite a few movies I want to buy in the upcoming months.

You missed a choice - I give mine away to family and friends, if they want them.

Yeah, my family & friends definitely are benefitting from my (non-)viewing habits, too.

I voted "never," because I haven't sold anything yet, although I do plan on getting rid of a few unwanted discs. I don't know if I'll sell them or not, though--it seems like an excessive amount of work for the low amount that the discs are worth.

I've sold a couple of movies I didn't like upon my 1st viewing. Also, if I rebuy a movie for it's packaging, I'll sell the original. Movies that I enjoy but don't see myself watching again, I'll give to family, JIC I want to watch again.

I trade them constantly at MovieStop. I buy movies from BB, CH, Target, WM, Pawn Shops, etc with the sole purpose of trading them into MS for a free new release!! I never pay more than $10 for a 2D free new release.

I would rather have money or store credit back for movies I don't want anymore (or have upgraded to better editions) than keep them.

I give all my Disney DVDs from the combo packs to my nephew. He's a happy camper.

I too give away all of the DVD copies from my combo packs to members of my family...they get plenty of birthday and Christmas gifts, and I get to save some money.

I've sold a few in my time. Last week, I sold my copy of 'Welcome to the Jungle' on eBay because it was cut.
