If there is a Frys Electronics in your state (they are concentrated mostly in northern and southern california) they have by far the best selection of indie label Blu Ray and DVD of ANY big box retailer. THey also recently started matching internet prices so you can use Amazon to knock the price down...great place.

It's a good thing SF played Witchboard for their drive-in otherwise I'd probably never have watched it. While its by no means the best movie I loved the two male leads and thought it was a nice original story, plus that song is really catchy. Was happy to pick it and Dark Angel up last week.

Since you just saw it, is there an accident at a construction site where a hammer or axe or something lands in a guys head after he falls?

Scaffolding falls on a guy, but it does show the hammer laying on it above him beforehand

Ok, that is the movie. In the version I watched as a kid, it embedded into his skull.

I saw this a long time ago on VHS(showing my age), and liked the movie. It is nice to see a Blu-ray release of it.. I should have my copy in a few days and can't wait....

USA Leprechaun The Complete Collection

I know this isn't a Scream Factory release, but thought it was a cool find. It has a September 30th release date from Lions Gate...

This is a series that, much like Child's Play, benefits from the films that actually embrace how absurd the overall premise is.

That's great service indeed! Please let us know your thoughts when you have watched the film. This is my most anticipated release of the year; my copy doesn't arrive until Monday of Tuesday.

There's a whole thread on it already. We've been discussing it for some time. Definitely a day one purchase for me at only $34.99 for 7 films.

Since some other studio is releasing Leprechaun, perhaps Scream Factory can have a look at the hilarious Rumpelstiltskin.

Looks like it's with Republic/Paramount. I guess Olive would be the company/label to release it on BD...

What I get a kick out of with this company is that they're selling these movies for about the same amount it cost to produce them.

This would be a great Blu-ray release. I loved this bad movie that was so bad it was good. I laughed so hard watching this movie..

Going back to the VHS and Laserdisc (especially this) days, the prices seem ok.

Yes, they charge $20 a pop but people have been paying it. It's a business model that seems to be working for the company.

$20 a movie was not out of the norm for a very long time. Too many people are used to Black Friday $3.99 movies deals now.
