We all hear about remakes of classic films that nobody asked for, such as Robocop. Surely there must be movies that are a good candidate for a remake?
I would like to see a new Mario Brothers movie, because the first one was garbage. |

Orca (1977) comes to mind. There are parts of that film that are beautiful and haunting, unfortunately it's brought down a bit by some corny moments. I've always thought a remake, keeping everything good about the original and dropping the most ridiculous stuff, could be something amazing.
