So, "Yes" to Always, The Sugarland Express and 1941 and "No" to Munich and Schindler's List?

Go home Universal, you're drunk.

Agreed on Munich. Where the hell is it on Blu? This is an important film in the Spielberg filmography. It needs a Blu release already. As a matter of fact, isn't it the only Spielberg film not released on Blu yet, if you count 1941 and Sugarland Express being released in this set?

Munich is a fantastic film. One of the Spielberg's very best. There's no excuses; it should have been included in this set. And yes, apart from some TV work, it's now the only Spielberg title MIA on blu.

Then yeah, it needs a Blu release ASAP, Universal.

2005 was a great year for Spielberg. War of the Worlds and then caps it off with Munich. I remember like it was yesterday.

I'm both excited by this news... and totally confused as to why such a set would be created without Schindler's List and Munich.

Is there really no extended version on the US version of 1941? What a drag.

I can see them holding it over until next year for a 10th anniversary release or something.

Don't worry, you're safe. EC is not listed on Amazon, but it's on Uni press site.

That sound about right. And afterwards, they will announce The Ultimate Steven Spielberg Collection or something, with both, Munich and Schindler's List included.

And a proper remaster of Jurassic Park.

They should just update the set plans and include Schindler's List and Munich. And if they really wanted to go all out, a proper new master of Jurassic Park in 2D and maybe the 3D disc version too.

This set sounds awesome, but come on Universal... a few tweaks and this set will be even more essential.

Forgot that the 10th anniversary was just next year. Yeah, they'll hold it til then.

Hoping for a standalone release for DUEL. This set is useless for me otherwise.

There's a lot of redundancy in this set, since most of us already own four of the films on Blu-ray. I love Duel, but I'll hold out for a single-disc release for now.

The collection says 1971 to 1997. So, hopefully there will be a vol. 2 announcement soon.

Excellent set, but I'm holding out for a standalone release of Duel. Praying for a future Munich release. And I'm sure it's quite stupid to ask if Jurassic Park is remastered...

Hopefully, Spielberg demanded that the new, previously unreleased single releases for this box set have good picture quality like he did with most of his other Universal releases. Otherwise, I could see these ending up looking REAL crappy and Family Plot-ish.
