Pre-ordered. My blind buys are getting more and more ridiculous. First the Posession Limited Edition and now this one.

Not to mention, guys it's only $80, is that really going to break the bank! I mean you have until October to pay for it, it wouldn't be too hard to just save for it.
Also people are acting like it's $80 or nothing. At least Scream Factory was nice enough to include the cheaper option for people who are fine just getting the Director's Cut.

They've said they can't list it just yet as haven't had the retail prices sent out them as yet going by a post they made on FB.
I'm sure they'll be listing it in a day or two and wouldn't be surprised if DVDWorld and Movietyme had listings soon for us UK consumers.

also I wonder if US Amazon will put up pre-orders soon? From the press release info it doesn't state you can only order the 3 Disc Limited direct from Shout.

I want to try to nab the Amazon pre-order as soon as it goes up. Esp if they list it at a discounted price.
Thanks PowellPressburger I'll keep an eye on those sites.

I did order it but could still cancel...maybe over the 4th of July Holiday Ill watch it to make sure. the trailer looked cool though

Well, I've seen the theatrical cut, but not the director's. I'm in the same boat. I only spend that much on OOP discs once in a while, but I went over budget on Possession, too.

Once Amazon pre-orders go up, it'll more than likely sell for less than what Scream is charging directly. I don't care about a poster, getting it early, or a "low" number. I care about saving anywhere from $10-20.

Saw it once on VHS when it first came out with some friends as a double feature with Hellraiser. We didn't sleep that night. Pre-ordered the 3 disc. $80 is a bit steep but at least it isn't drugs.

Lol. If you haven't noticed there are people here with movie buying addictions so they probably do feel extorted in their own minds.

I've never ordered from Shout so could be completely wrong but on occasions when I've paid with a credit card I've had what looks like a charge immediately only to find it's refunded a day or two later by my CC company.

I was happy just waiting for the standard release until I read it again and noticed the theatrical cut is ONLY in the limited release.

Let's be honest, a director's cut doesn't mean it's gonna be better than the original version, in fact in many cases a DC was no where near as enjoyable as what was seen in theaters. I really don't want to lose out on a BD for the theatrical cut especially because I might very well hate the DC but the price is a bit steep and I do wonder IF it will even show on Amazon.com (possibly at a slightly reduced price) or if the limited release will sell out before then.

I wouldn't be shocked if the limited release is still available a year from now at that price, if not longer.

Simple- they Process the funds to make sure you have the money to pay for it, but when it ships, it processes and takes the money out of your account, that's the actual charge. Use your credit card and you wont pay for it until they ship it
