I hope they release a new Studio or signature series because I would buy a pair in a heart beat!
They are suppose to be working on something better that the current Signature.

Default New Paradigm owner!

As you know, I was recently looking into some Paradigms Monitor 7 v6's. I found a pair in Ottawa at a decent price. So the misses and I took a little road trip to and picked them up. Very clean looking speakers, mint even. Only downside, I didn't notice the seller didn't have the spikes/rubber feet on them. So I gotta look those up. Another perk of that road trip, we had lunch at Red Lobsters... There's no Red Lobster in Quebec, so that was nice.

Got home a few hours later and gave them a listen. I really liked what I heard. I put on some of the same cd's I used to test my MA RS6's when I purchased them, more or less. Cranked up Zakk Wylde's Pride & Glory, Norah Jones, Led Zep and ZZ Top. I liked what I heard, different from my RS6's but still nice. So, I went online and searched for a center channel. Figured I could find a CC-190 at a good price. What I found was a local sale for some Paradigm Monitor 9 v6's and a CC-290 v6 in mint condition (9/10). The guy wanted $950 for the three. After a few email exchanges and some negotiating, I got the M9's and CC-290 for $650! I'm happy man... I scored I decent deal I think!

So now I have a pair of Monitor 7 v6's to sell. I'd also like to maybe trade them. Maybe an amp, sub or other speakers (good bookshelf's)... just don't know what yet. Might keep them also, could always use extra speakers in a house!

Thx bud! Haven't given them enough playtime to make a proper comparison between the two. I plan on doing gthat this summer during vacation time. So I will definitely write up something befween the two.

That was a nice little profit you were able to make on those

I like great bookies as surrounds, I think towers are overkill unless you have a very large room. I still get tremendous dynamic range with my Mites as surrounds.

The ADP 590 are indeed great surround speakers, I might take a plunge to go back to a di-bi surround speakers, but I like to listen to music on the bookshelf Mites from time to time, I would do some Totem Lynks.

Default Somethings comming, and it could be big!

New Studio Reference series based off the 30th anniversary design? or a new Signature series that I heard a while back, with a new name?

This looks ti be what is suppose to be replacing the Signatures.

Now I do not think they will have the Signature name nor the name of Studios. Not sure what they will call them.

By the way the Studios are in the Reference collection. They are stating here a Reference class speaker and not Reference collection speaker. They are trying to get us confused I think

We shall see.

I really did take a close look a it but they don't look exactly the same to me, I may be wrong.

Look carefully at the decoupling sytem here at the front of the speaker, but yes it is an improvement over the current system and does seem to inspired by the 30th anniversary decoup^ling system.

30th anniversary speaker:

I heard that rumor too! Maybe there will be a complete overhaul of the Reference line, including new models for the Studio, Signature and a new higher end series?
