I can't order from Scream Factory directly so have to wait for an other retailer, but sure hope I can get one of the Limited edition set. It's pricey but what the hell. I'm just affraid that Arrow will rlease it shortly after for a much better price and possibly even a nicer package then this.

Ooooh. I was number 241 by my calculations, then. Not the most exciting number, but it is low! Now if the postal office can just deliver it in mint condition... that's all I really care about.

(Oh, and I imagine Clive Barker got one of the first-pressed un-numbered copies. He's too good to have to play the numbers game. )

$30 is where I top out for single film - Twilight Time stuff. That's still kind of hard to swallow, but $80 for a single film? Nope. I'll buy the cheapo version and hang onto the dvd I've got of the theatrical release.

82312 for me. So if that is the case I should have #12 huh? Nice.

I'm kinda shocked that the first 1,000 sold out so quickly. I figured it would be at least a week, not a matter of hours. As for the rest, I still think they'll still be around in 6 months to a year from now if not longer.

My order number is 82524 btw, so I got in the first 1,000. Woohoo!

Well we shall see. Once they hit Amazon.com and are cheaper than they are priced now it will be interesting to see considering it seems like that is what a lot of people are waiting for right now.

I would've agreed with you yesterday. But, selling 1,000 within less than a day of the announcement? I wouldn't bet on it being around in 6 months.

And now Shout is saying they are selling another 1000 through their online store, which leaves 3000 for all other retailers. If those retailers discount it, I just can't imagine they are going to last all that long.

Not really. The original announcement stated the regular edition would have bonus features. The limited edition has an additional exclusive disk of bonus features.

But hey - whatever makes you feel better about not getting it.

Once the limited edition goes live on amazon I really don't think it'll be long before it sells out. From the Facebook page there's a lot of interest in this title from people overseas (including myself) and amazon is the only way to buy it. I think it'll easily sell out within a week.

Im sure order numbers are assigned as orders for any items are placed...not just this. So subtracting 1000 from the cutoff number doesn't really work to help you know which number you got. If they are even going to number them in order to begin with...

Wow I remember this too! I don't remember where I got it. The video store maybe?

Oh yeah, duh. Don't know why I thought this set was the only thing Shout was selling. My brain must be a little slow today lol.

Yeah, it is doubtful at best that anyone gets the number that corresponds with their order. At least that's my hope, cuz if not, I have no chance of 666 and will get 873. You never know though. I thought it said at least the first 1000 would be numbered, but maybe it was the posters?

I'm impressed! I didn't think they'd even sell more than a dozen of those at $80 a piece.

Clive Barker cast him because he was in all those old monster movies and I’m sure the scene will be kept in even though it was part of the reshoots.

As for the price, I was expecting to just get a movie with cleaned up VHS footage. They found the original negative! I ordered two of the LE and one of the regular version just for the Les Edwards cover art. I've been waiting for this for two decades, so it's time to pay up. Thanks you, Scream Factory.
See so I only wanted the theatrical cut. Sucks I won't be able to get this.

Still debating on it. I really dont care about edition numbers or the poster, so I wonder how long I have to ponder before its sold out. I also wonder how many people will cancel or have their orders declined before release date.
